Story
The average Christian in America does not know what his own religion teaches, nor does he care. He may call himself “Christian”, but he lives his life exactly as he wishes, making no attempt to conform his conduct to the commands and tenets of his religion. Daily Wire writer Matt Walsh confronts his fellow Christians in this bold, clear-eyed book that serves as an urgent reminder of Matthew 7:13 - "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."

A truly profound book. I sincerely hope many will be inspired to read it. I sincerely hope that after you have read it, you will take an inventory of your own life, as I have, and consider, ... truly consider our own spiritual situations. Thank you Mr. Walsh.

Story
Founder of the largest indigenous Christian church in American history, Joseph Smith published the 584-page Book of Mormon when he was 23 and went on to organize a church, found cities, and attract thousands of followers before his violent death at age 38. Richard Bushman, an esteemed cultural historian and a practicing Mormon, moves beyond the popular stereotype of Smith as a colorful fraud to explore his personality, his relationships with others, and how he received revelations.

The book is an excellent work, and with a little self-discipline, misprounciations do little to detract from the narrative. I was touched by Joseph's humanity. He was a simple man with a desire to faithfully serve his God. He name, for good or evil, will remain indelible on American history and in the hearts of millions who have received person witnesses of his earthly mission.

Populist rage, ideological fracture, economic and technological shocks, geopolitical dangers, and an international system studded with catastrophic risk—the early decades of the 21st century may be one of the most revolutionary periods in modern history. But they are not the first. Humans have lived, and thrived, through more than one great realignment. What makes an age a revolutionary one? And how do they end?

I really enjoyed this story, being a significant departure from my usual books of history and science. Being from an older generation, the new use of pronouns took some getting used to, but did not detract from a great story. Well written. The narrator did an incredible job, and her vocal depictions of the various characters were totally believable. I really can't wait for the next in what I hope will be continuing adventures in "Elderville".

Story
It is a simple fact that no president in American history brought less foreign policy experience to the White House than Donald J. Trump. The real estate developer from Queens promised to bring his brash, zero-sum swagger to bear to cut through America's most complex national security issues, and he did. If the cost of his "America First" agenda was bulldozing the edifice of foreign alliances that had been carefully tended by every president from Truman to Obama, then so be it.

Tackling a broad range of issues from prayer in the schools to the globalist mindset, Horowitz traces the anti-Christian movement to its roots in communism.
