Publisher's summary

The average Christian in America does not know what his own religion teaches, nor does he care. He may call himself “Christian”, but he lives his life exactly as he wishes, making no attempt to conform his conduct to the commands and tenets of his religion. Daily Wire writer Matt Walsh confronts his fellow Christians in this bold, clear-eyed book that serves as an urgent reminder of Matthew 7:13 - "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."

Eye opener

If you were in doubt about the state of the church and the state of mankind this will definitely clear it up. You however have to be willing to be open and listen.

Must read for Christians

I had no idea that the funny guy from the Daily Wire was this into his faith. This books is incredible and while I think he makes many super important points that Christians need to hear. I highly recommend this book!

Conviction

Even though I didn’t agree with everything this author said, this book was very convicting to my heart. I never thought that many Catholics believe this way because I always thought of the stereotypes where they go to confession, or take the sacraments for their belief in going to Heaven when they die.

It’s so scary about some of the points he brought in this book. I believe every Christian should read this.

BEST book of the year!

This year I have read over a dozen books. Matt Walsh', "Church of Cowards" is hands down the best book of the year! I am a Seminary student and in these dozen or so books were books about theology, church history, and hermeneutics. I have read books by current scholars. I have read books by old dead guys as well. Matt Walsh has a special gift. His writing is more theological than the professional academics. His pleas are more passionate than any expository preacher. I have heard more biblical truth, doctrinal insight, and persuasive didactic instruction from Matt in this book than from the pulpit on Sunday. I highly recommend you get a copy and read it, and tell your friends, they won't be disappointed.

Narrator sounds like a robot, but great “read” otherwise

Wish Walsh could have read it himself, but at least he wrote this insightful and necessary book. Highly convicting to live a better Christian life.
