Story
When a series of devastating terror attacks brought down the United States, Conor and Barb assumed they were safe in their compound. They had everything they needed. They were armed and highly trained. But then, Barb was kidnapped. The kidnappers didn’t know why Conor was known as The Mad Mick. They didn’t know the fear and respect his name invoked in the shadowy underworld of covert operations. They didn’t know that when it came to protecting his family, he was without conscience, without compassion, and without equal. But they would soon find out.

I Love The Mad Mick

Great story line. I was hoping for a book 4. The performance was exceptional, Mick and his daughter Barb, the main characters stood out from the rest of the characters with their Irish accents and take care of business approach to the apocalypse.

Story
Jason Sterling had a simple life by all accounts. He had worked the same job his entire adult life, he had never married, and he had no children. He was used to doing things on his own. His comfortable life was shaken to the core the day he learned of his fathers death. It was a mysterious meeting that set life-altering events in motion, and the allure of a new life was too great to walk away from. When an electromagnetic pulse brings the modern world to its knees, Jason's choice proves to be the right one.

Preppers Survive
Reviewed: 06-12-23
Drives me crazy when I hear people joke about the apocalypse, however it may come, as if they’re going to celebrate because they don’t have to go to work anymore. This was a great story. Believable in many ways particularly if you know where Elko Nevada is and the stretch of I-80 between Salt Lake and Reno. My biggest criticism is the typical use of biker gangs as the evil bad asses. But I still liked the story very much. Great character development!

Great series! Loved the characters. Ending was ok but maybe some loose ends. What happens to Vita? What happens with Fred and his group and the dynamics living with John and family? Will they see the military return for their retribution? All can be left to one’s imagination. Still was a great series. Thank you Bobby!

Not Too Far Fetched!
Reviewed: 12-20-22
As demonstrated in other books by Bobby Akart, there is as much a possibility of a solar flare hitting the earth’s atmosphere as there is a 10 Pt magnitude earthquake hitting the US. What is even more real is the chaos that will erupt in any Apacolyptic event. Bobby is an awesome storyteller, bringing fiction to paper and audio, and to this person, total reality. I am prepared!

Story
Nuclear Winter enveloped the planet with its relentless barrage of dark, sooty air. With each passing day, more and more people died. In a desperate attempt to give people a chance to survive, some government leaders chose to marshal the assets of their community. It was a polite way of saying take from those who have and give to those who have not.

Totally entertaining from beginning to end. Keeping up with all the characters was not hard and found myself easily walking in their shoes. Although it is a fictional story, it could easily be non-fiction tomorrow…. Especially in 2022. Thank you Bobby Akart!!

Great story and the narrators were excellent. Although minimal, I didn’t enjoy the bashing of Trump and conservatives. No place for it a fictional novel. My allegiance to Steven King as a brilliant writer is over. We’re a divided country as it is, why make it worse.
