Narrators Were AMAZING
Reviewed: 05-23-25
The narrators compliment each other so well in this audio series. The story itself is amazing(aside from the endless shat sheets) but what really stands out is the narrators. Everything is combined to give an amazing audio book experience. Can't wait for book 3 next month!

The Blackened Blade is the first in a new paranormal why-choose series. It's full of action, revenge, and five dark and damaged love interests that the FMC will not have to choose between. For mature listeners.

Great ending but...
Reviewed: 01-26-25
There were way too many filler chapters in this book. You could probably remove half the book and not lose anything. Otherwise the series had a somewhat satisfying ending. Glad the series wasn't dragged on any further than it needed to be.

The author decided to end the story at the perfect time. A lot of authors make the mistake of drawing out the story for too long which tends to ruin it.

Great

SPOILERS- The performance was top notch as always. I don't think I've ever seen Travis Baldree go wrong. The story was great but had a few frustrating moments. The final boss fight took way too long and it seemed like Jake and Miyamoto were severely nerfed for the duration of it. I can't give it a perfect review but it's dang close. I usually despise constantly POV changes but the author and Travis made the transition seamless which I find extremely impressive. Overall, I can't wait for the next book.
