The portal to the Night Lands is closed, and vampires are barred from Earth, but at a high cost. If this really was the last book as I suspect then thank you to the author and narrator it’s been a fantastic ride. Can’t wait for his other series to finish up on audiobook.

This seems to be the finale or at least this major arc of the story. Excellent urban fantasy series with a solid conclusion. I like the authors other series Blue Core as well. Will definitely be picking up future books or series.

While there were some things that weren’t addressed, most things were wrapped up by the end of this book. There is some small space left for another story arc, or perhaps a spin-off series in the same universe.

The only thing I was a little upset about is that we never learn who Callum’s father was or why he has the abnormalities that he does.

A good conclusion to a series that will be missed.
