This story made me feel like a Hollywood insider. An in-depth story of the Howard brothers early times in the film industry.

I liked their candor. And liked that they narrated the book themselves. I thought it leant authenticity.

I loved all the James Herriot novels but could not get into this book. I never watched this program and the stories could not keep my interest.

I have listened to all the previous Maeve Kerrigan books and enjoyed them immensely. But I could not get into this latest story because of the narrator. All the characters sounded the same and I had so much trouble following it that I finally gave up and returned the audiobook.

I enjoyed this very much and learned a lot about what life as a young blind person is like. I had no idea there was so much bullying against disabled persons. And liked learning more about guide dogs since where I live has an amazing guide dog institute that I have helped raised money for. I would recommend this listen to anyone.

I love mysteries and Elizabeth George has been one of my favorite authors for over 20 years. But this is the first audiobook of hers I have tried. Even though it is one of the few stories I partially figured out, I still really enjoyed it. Lots of twists and turns plus good narration made it a great listen.

I have seen this movie many times and enjoyed the story. But the book has so much more to offer - about the Civil War, about Atlanta, and of course, about Scarlett and her relationships. I can now see why this story is a classic. Great narration adds to the story.

Very satisfying book. Set of seemingly unrelated stories that weave together cleverly. These stories are so good that the BBC made a set of 3 episodes to air on PBS. The subsequent books with the protagonist Jackson Brody are very good too. I have listened to them all.

Loved the story and the readers (2 - same character at different ages). I think most anyone would enjoy this story.

I've read most all of Sara Patetsky's books and have always liked them. This was the first one I've tried as an audiobook and probably my last. I didn't care at all for the reader. The males voices were just louder than the female voices and so always seemed like they were shouting.
