I loved listening to this book, it was full of great information that was well researched and enlightening. I haven't heard a more perfect rebuke of feminism and it's devastating effects on the world ever before.

A well-written document of one of the victims of the plot to take down our President. It's infuriating to know that this was done to an American citizen by his own government. This man should be fully exonerated and hopefully, all of those involved will pay for what they did. Until then, there's no reason to trust the FBI or any democrat who continually harasses the President, his family, his supporters and those who work for him.

What disappointed you about The War of Art?

The reference to religion, religious schools and all involved with it as being destructive and the hint that an artist could not possibly be a religious fundamentalist.

What could Steven Pressfield have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Stayed on the topic and kept his views on religion to himself, or have a title that tells us that he's going to call some people destructive and incapable of art.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrator was fine

Any additional comments?

I thought this book started out great and then all of the sudden there's some sort of switch to a very biased view of religions, which of course he has the right to have but it definitely turned me off from bothering to finish the book.

Would you listen to The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage again? Why?

I am listening to it again right now. It is a book I will go back to when I feel like I need to be reminded of the advice given.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dr. Laura Schlessinger

What does Lily LoBianco and Dr. Laura Schlessinger bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I can listen to it along with my husband rather than both of us reading the book separately. The narration was great.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me feel relieved actually.

Any additional comments?

This book was extremely helpful, something we were actually happy to hear. The last thing we wanted to do was try to learn all of these special words we should say to each other, walking on eggshells was not what we needed. It is straightforward and honest and helped us realize what we were doing wrong without any covert language. Loved it and am thankful for it!
