Story
Exile to the miserable world of Sedh, the disgraced Necron Lord Oltyx is consumed with bitterness. Once heir to the throne of a dynasty, he now commands nothing but a dwindling garrison of warriors, in a never-ending struggle against Ork invaders. Oltyx can think of nothing but the prospect of vengeance against his betrayers, and the reclamation of his birthright. But the Orks are merely the harbingers of a truly unstoppable force. Unless Oltyx acts to save his dynasty, revenge will win him only ashes.

Fantastic deep dive into the lore!
Reviewed: 12-08-22
Hooked on this book from start to finish! As a Necron player in the ttg, I was looking for more lore and this provided it in spades. All the way up until the ending it had my attention in it's grasp, and I've immediately purchased and downloaded the sequel. Can't recommend this book enough to anyone even remotely interested in the Necrons.

Story
“Shy” Hunt and the tech team from McAllen Integrations thought they’d have an easy job - set up environmental systems for the brand new Hasanova Data Solutions colony, built on the abandoned ruins of a complex known as “Charybdis”. There are just two problems: The colony belongs to the Iranian state, so diplomacy is strained at best, and the complex is located above a series of hidden caves that contain deadly secrets.

It's entertaining, but not great
Reviewed: 02-26-21
Was an entertaining book with cool moments. Although the author couldn't really decide on a main character. returning characters from the last book are great, but it left me feeling like there was just something missing at the end.

Story
Karr is a teenage boy like many others in the galaxy. He goes to school, helps his parents with the family business, likes speeders and droids. But Karr also has a secret: When he touches certain objects, he gets searing headaches and blacks out. And along with the pain sometimes come visions of people he doesn't know and places he's never been. Karr's parents worry that he's sick; his grandmother is convinced the visions come from the Force. But it's been years since anyone has heard from the last of the Jedi - Luke Skywalker. Are there any Jedi left to guide Karr?

Great narration, story is rather bland
Reviewed: 12-15-20
While the characters are likable, there's no real antagonist. there are no real stakes, and there's never really any danger. There's cameos and references galore, and it's a good story about finding yourself. but if you're looking for traditional Star Wars action then it's probably best to look at another title.

Horror at Hadley’s Hope
Reviewed: 10-05-18
This story scratched an itch I’ve had for years! What exactly happened on Hadley’s Hope before Ripley arrived. What horrors did Newt and her family face. And how did the xenomorphs take over so quickly?
The audio performance is top notch! The characters were conveyed with such emotion. The voice actors playing the roles of already established characters were spot on with their performances!
This was definitely a treat for the ears. Gave me the nostalgic feeling of when I watched this movie for the first time as a kid.

Great Listen

I enjoyed it very much. The narrator's pronunciation is so much better than most others, including the announcer or the book. Be prepared to hear the guy at the end butcher the main characters name. But other than that I'm sure you will love the tale of "Drizzit".
