Story
More than 15 years after the events of The Handmaid's Tale, the theocratic regime of the Republic of Gilead maintains its grip on power, but there are signs it is beginning to rot from within. At this crucial moment, the lives of three radically different women converge, with potentially explosive results. Two have grown up as part of the first generation to come of age in the new order. The testimonies of these two young women are joined by a third: Aunt Lydia. Her complex past and uncertain future unfold in surprising and pivotal ways.

The production by the narrators really brought this story to life for me! The author has done a masterful job from start to finish. Depicted the Giliad regime in terms that kept me enthralled from the beginning to end of this tale. BOTH TIMES THROUGH!! Have flagged this story for another listen sometime in the future. Thank you for such GREAT work.

Homicide Detective Max Rupert never fully accepted his wife's death, even when he believed that a reckless hit and run driver was the cause. But when he learns that in fact she was murdered, he devotes himself to hunting down her killers. Most of his life he had thought of himself as a decent man. But now he's so consumed with thoughts of retribution that he questions whether he will take that last step and enact the vengeance he longs for.

Story
Wolf of the North: It has been generations since the Northlands have seen a hero worthy of the title. Many have made the claim, but few have lived to defend it. Timid, weak, and bullied, Wulfric is as unlikely a candidate as there could be. Jorundyr's Path: Jorundyr's Path is walked only by the brave. As Wulfric pursues Adalhaid's Blood Debt, he soon learns that the path to revenge is never easy. The Blood Debt: A blade fit for a hero. An army for a tyrant. A reckoning long awaited, and a tale reaching its end.

Don’t usually do a review but this story was, in my opinion, really great. Maybe it was the story, maybe it was the narrator. Whatever it was it kept me listening every spare minute. Do not start listening unless you are ready to get hooked. Hated for this tale to end. Thank you.

I thought I would get bored with this because of having listened to the whole "The Expanse" series. WOW was I wrong. Every single story was so good that I went back and listened twice. All of them of course, bringing back the full impact of the Expanse series. Would really recommend for anyone that enjoyed the Expanse series. Hope these guys keep coming up with stories like these!

The author did a great job on the storyline. It is fast moving and very complex and takes a bit of thinking and thought to keep up with what’s happening. The narrator does a great job of making this a very pleasant listen. Excellent work.

I don’t often write reviews for books but this one really deserves my appreciation. I had first read Watership down and really really enjoyed that story and so I decided to try this book out by the same author. I am really glad that I did. I have put this in my favorites category and have listen to it twice already with the intent of listening at least a couple of more times. There is just so much depth and thought put into this story line. I hope that this author considers a sequel for this book.
