About this listen

Contains the complete Wolf of the North trilogy.

Wolf of the North, book 1

It has been generations since the Northlands have seen a hero worthy of the title. Many have made the claim, but few have lived to defend it. Timid, weak, and bullied, Wulfric is as unlikely a candidate as there could be.

A chance encounter with an ancient and mysterious object awakens a latent gift, and Wulfric's life changes course. Against a backdrop of war, tragedy, and an enemy whose hatred for him knows no bounds, Wulfric will be forged from a young boy into the Wolf of the North. This is his tale.

Jorundyr's Path, book 2

Jorundyr's Path is walked only by the brave. It is survived only by the strong. As Wulfric pursues Adalhaid's Blood Debt, he soon learns that the path to revenge is never easy, and the desires of men and the will of gods rarely meet. Aethelman seeks answers to questions long ignored. Rodulf chases power and wealth.

From the streets of Elzburg to the dry plains of Darvaros, Wulfric walks Jorundyr's Path and encounters a world larger than he could ever have dreamed of, filled with friends, enemies, and danger—the crucible from which heroes are forged.

The Blood Debt, book 3

A blade fit for a hero. An army for a tyrant. A reckoning long awaited, and a tale reaching its end.

A pleasant surprise!

I was just looking for something to listen to to kill some time. I ended up getting hooked and binged the trilogy. Definitely worth the 1 credit for the 3 books. Very well written, expertly narrated, great story.... definitely worth a listen.

Great story!

I listened to the Dragonslayer books by Duncan M. Hamilton and loved them, so when donewith they, I thought I’d check out some of his other other titles. Hard to believe, but I liked the Wolf of the North trilogy even more!

Great characters and a great world for both trilogies to be set in. Independent of each other enough that you don’t need to be familiar with one to enjoy the other, but connected enough that you soon realize they are in the same world.

The storylines and characters are unique and don’t feel like a repeat of the other.

Strongly recommend both the Wolf of the North and the Dragonslayer books!

A wonderful tale! Enjoyed every moment of it!

I really liked the characters, good ones were believable, and the bad ones were as well!
We get to know each character as they evolve and so understand the motivations.
Although there is magic, the microcosm of that world stays true.

I didn’t want the story to end

This story was captivating and the narrator was one of the best I’ve heard. The trilogy was full of adventure, magic, and heroism!

Great listen!

I was a bit hesitant at first but once I started it there was no reason to put it down! I am a particular type when it comes to fantasy epics but this one is in the top three now I think. Very good work all around, it could have been a few books longer and I would not have been upset. Thanks for writing!

Good book

It was what I love to listen to. I feel like they could have added one more book to it. The end was a little rushed. Overall I loved it.

Good story, all three books are needed

I can see why this book is sold as a set. The first two books don’t really end well.
