Story
"En un lugar de la Mancha, de cuyo nombre no quiero acordarme, vivía no hace mucho un hidalgo de los de lanza ya olvidada, escudo antiguo, rocín flaco y galgo corredor." Con estas palabras, Andrés Trapiello presenta el que es, sin lugar a dudas, uno de los más ambiciosos proyectos literarios de los últimos tiempos: la primera traducción impresa en castellano actual del Quijote.

Story
The quiet 1960s midwestern life of the Land family is upended when son Davy kills two marauders who have come to harm the family. The morning of his sentencing, Davy (a hero to some, a cold-blooded murderer to others) escapes from his cell, and the Lands set out in search of him. Their journey is touched by serendipity and the kindness of strangers, and they cover territory even more extraordinary than the Badlands, where they search for Davy from their Airstream trailer.

Simple but powerful

I enjoyed the simplicity of the story because he put a lot of references to hysterical events along the way.

Story
In 2005, Ted W. Baxter was at the top of his game. He was a successful, globe-trotting businessman with a resume that would impress the best of the best. In peak physical condition, Ted worked out nearly every day of the week. And then, on April 21, 2005, all that came to an end. He had a massive ischemic stroke. Doctors feared he wouldn’t make it, or if he did make it, he would be in a vegetative state in a hospital bed for the rest of his life. But miraculously, that’s not what happened....

Empowering and wonderful work that makes you realize that you have a total control of your own destiny.
He was able to get back to a full meaningful life despite the stroke and he worked relentless.
I was able to do the same with childhood abused and moved to happiness but I realized that not every one is this motivated.
