James Evans was wonderful. Arielle DeLisle did a great job speaking Georgia's part, but sounded Scottish rather than English for Ashley's part. That's just a minor thing though.

3.5* okay, the majority of this book was actually 4-4.5*, but the last three chapters and epilogue just completely killed it. I agree with a reviewer that said it seems like a completely different person wrote the end. The last three chapters were just a waste. Nothing was resolved, not even in the epilogue. It's almost like the author got sick or had some major life event happen, but had a deadline to make, so rushed to finish or even had somebody else finish the book. I will reread this, but I will stop after chapter 24 and create my own ending in my head where they figure out quickly they want to stay married and live happily ever after in England.

This book was just as good as, if not better than, the first in the series. I liked that the heroine was strong and had high morals. The hero was also strong, but loving and supportive. I like that they were respectful of each other's differences and traditions. I also like that there's no stupid big misunderstanding between the two main characters (Why are so many romance books like that? Having a dumb misunderstanding completely ruins the book for me. Thank goodness this one isn't like that.)! This will be a book that I will read again and again (just like the first). I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series!

Once you get over the fact that they've only met twice and fell in love, it's a beautiful story of strength of character/courage, goodness/kindness, and love overcoming all.

I loved this book. It was funny, adventurous, and suspenseful without causing angst...

****spoiler alert****

mostly because I knew they'd be okay based on the previous book, The Segonian, so it kept it from being too sad or too suspenseful. Even though I'd call this a sister book in that it took place at the same time as the Segonian, there were still suprises. I'll definitely be reading this book again.

The narrator was amazing! As far as the story went, it was a cute, quick read with a little bit of everything... adventure, humor, love. I would have gladly read a full length novel for this couple, but I love the novela and I'll definitely read it again.

Callie Dalton is always amazing. I'll listen to anything she narrates.

spoiler alert****" 4.5* It would have been perfect if she'd told Adam about Tom right away instead of "ending" their relationship, but it's short lived. This book made me giggle and have all the feels. It's a wonderful book that I see myself reading at least yearly.

I was concerned when I started reading this that he was going to be a complete ass until the end, but it was very short lived and you learn how he really is a decent guy...misguided, but decent, very early on. I'll definitely read this one again.

The narrators were great.

The nature of the story is sad/despairing, but hopeful. Callihan balances it beautifully. I laughed and cried and everything in between. I definitely see myself reading it again

Callie Dalton is always amazing and Chris Brinkley...holy only be rocked Zac's voice (swoon).

I loved reading Zac's and Bianca's story. I hate that if they'd communicated a little more, the 10 year gap would never have happened, but I could totally see that happening in real life. They were cute together and it was fun seeing Aiden and Van again. I'll definitely be reading this over and over again, just like Zapata's other books.
