Story
Think you've had a bad day at work? Marcus definitely takes the cake. First, he had a horrible customer during his shift. Then he got fired by his boss. And after that, he got shot to death during a robbery. To top it all off, he awakened within the body of a weak and strange creature in a fantasy world full of deadly monsters. And that's just Monday!

I liked it but...
Reviewed: 11-02-22
First of all, as many have said, this book is labeled as litrpg but has zero game elements of any kind. There aren't any classes levels stats or substantial strategy. It is a reincarnated into another world story, but a decent one, if weird.
The mc is just a guy, but is stuck in the body of a female monster. There is some crude language but that fits the character. Still, that coupled with a lot of talk about laying eggs may put many off. If one can get past that or doesn't mind it, this is an alright story. If one can't, this will be a bad experience.
I obviously liked it but I can see this as being a love it or hate it kind of thing. To me, while I don't agree with the mc's weird reactions and fixations, I think it works. Still not a litrpg though.

Story
Fact one: Edwin Maxlin has fallen out of the sky and landed in a strange forest. Fact two: messages keep appearing in his line of vision, informing him that he has leveled up in various Skills—including some truly thrilling abilities such as Walking and Breathing. Fact three: this is most definitely not Earth. Now Edwin, one-time student of material physics, must make his way through an unknown world, collecting Skills, upgrading his Class, embarking on life Paths, and most importantly, staying alive.

Let's do scien..OH! Shiny!

Science enthusiast gets sent to a world of magic and gets lost in his own head to his constant detriment. Nothing wrong with the story even if I want to yell at the mc to focus every two seconds. This comes from someone who has hyperactive attention deficit disorder. It's not unbelievable just frustrating at times. It is also Stat heavy, but the mc is trying to figure out the Science behind the system so there is a reason for going over them.. to an extent. Interesting enough. Not ground breaking but not bad either.

Pretty good story, though some descriptors are used a bit too frequently. Well.. One in particular. The characters seem realized enough and none of their actions come off as forced. The main antagonist is more unsettling than scary, which is due more to their motivation than ability.

My review doesn't make sense...
Reviewed: 10-16-20
The main character seems like an upright guy who ends up getting caught up in his new life and takes actions I don't think he normally would, making me wonder if its going to end with him as a hero or a tyrant, or something between the two. Overall I think the performance was great and the story was also pretty good, but not perfect. Still in the end I wanted more and it wasn't just because of how it ended. It feels like the perfect start to a great story. When the second book comes to Audible I'll be picking it up, It seems like it may be more than the sum of its parts, I hope the continuation sticks the landing..

Story
The colonists from the Pathfinder have arrived on Kaguya, a planet with low gravity but a very dense atmosphere. It’s fun to jump around, but the air makes you loopy - and worse than that, the heavy atmosphere means that wind storms, although rare, are absolutely devastating. Zero and Nyx help to get everything locked down before the first big storm, but they stumble onto a group of thieves who have stolen some mining equipment. Before the kids have a chance to get away and tell anyone, the storm hits and the massive winds carry them far away.

Fun little adventure.

A nice little sci-fi adventure that isn't deep or scary or complicated. A good pick for young listeners. The voice performers work well and sound fitting for their roles. The only thing keeping me from giving this full marks is little nitpicks like the antagonists plan has some holes in logic, and the few awkward uses of the broad term 'scientist' as if it were some lofty title to the extent it made me raise an eyebrow. Still a good fun story.
