Story
The moment I saw her picture, I knew she was mine. After years in prison for a crime I didn't commit, the last thing I should be doing is tracking down a woman whose name I was never supposed to know, let alone kidnapping her. But I've put the angel who made my life worth living again in danger, and I'm going to keep her safe whether she likes it or not, even if that means carrying her off and claiming her like a beast. Because even if she doesn't know it yet, she's always been mine.

Mrs. Barkley talked Zoe into traveling the Santa Fe Trail to tutor her children, but Zoe had no idea it would be such an adventure, that a handsome Army officer would provide an escort, or that she would take an instant dislike to him. However, between apologies, new friends, teaching, kidnappings, Indians, and Santa Fe itself, there’s plenty of excitement.

What a beautiful touching story. There was so much history that was told just like it was back in the day. My own grandmother and mother taught me how to plan and prepare for hardships because they went through them. This one blessed me and brought back memories of my youth. The narrator was wonderful and she was so spot on.

What a beautiful picture Barbara has painted with this story. I remember my Native grandmother telling me about the hard times they had during that time period. She too used herbs in healing, especially during the 1918 flu. She went with our local doctor and helped him and they used the horse and buggy to travel. This is an example of what happened during that time period. The people relied upon God to get them through good and bad times. I loved it. The narrator did a great job and he brought it to life.

What a blessing this story can give the sinner or the saved. Cora made mistakes as well as we all do, but God is a loving God and is faithful to forgive us our sins. This was uplifting. The narrator did a great job and I especially enjoyed her singing the songs.

I have to admit, I had to cry and smile listening to Brad Wills narrative of it. He is amazing and a true professional actor who deserves more stars than I was allowed to give. Kathryn and Brad are both amazing and talented and deserve thousands of awards! I loved it!!
