I've read this authors zombie rules series and decided to give this book a try. I was not totally sold on the reader but the story hooked me,the main character was cool and story was well written,I hope another book will be coming out in the series!!!!

The news is full of disturbing events today. There's war and rumors of war. There's the false recovery of the economy. Faith in the US economy is extremely low. Foreign banks have either slowed their purchases of Treasury Bonds or, in a few cases, begun unloading them. We have a current election that is rife with corruption, extreme partisanship, and outright fraud. It would appear the left in the country is ready to do about anything to see their candidate elected.

This book was awesome,slow start but it picked up,finally an author that realizes how Texas would really fare in an economic collapse, better than Idaho or Washington ,the place to be in some other books(yeah right) .The characters are well rounded and represents what type of thinking average people would have ,not everyone is hardcore survivalist ,many would be on the fence or just normal people using common sense to make through. Can't wait for the next one Chris!!!!

This book was a great read, I can't wait for next one. Especially after getting to meet the author and his lovely fiancee in Estes Park , I can really visualize the Trackers story in Estes Park, come on book 3!!!!
