Story
Cult of the Dead Cow is the tale of the oldest, most respected, and most famous American hacking group of all time. Though until now it has remained mostly anonymous, its members invented the concept of hacktivism. Today, the group and its followers are battling electoral misinformation, making personal data safer, and battling to keep technology a force for good instead of for surveillance and oppression. Cult of the Dead Cow shows how governments, corporations, and criminals came to hold immense power over individuals and how we can fight back against them.

Story
In The Social Leap, William von Hippel lays out a revolutionary hypothesis, tracing human development through three critical evolutionary inflection points to explain how events in our distant past shape our lives today. From the mundane, such as why we exaggerate, to the surprising, such as why we believe our own lies and why fame and fortune are as likely to bring misery as happiness, the implications are far-reaching and extraordinary.

This book was recommended to me my friend of mine. I could not be more pleased with the delivery of the topic and subtopics supporting the arguments of evolution and anthropology in general. I heavily recommend this book to anybody that is looking to better understand your fellow humans.

Story
A battalion of Serbs has been senselessly murdered in Kosovo, and the Green Berets stand accused. Now, Major Sean Drummond, a top Army lawyer, is assigned to investigate this unspeakable atrocity. But of course, no one saw anything. Drummond gets consistently suspicious depositions from all of the Green Berets: Supposedly pursued by Serb soldiers, they left the engagement with wounded Serbs firing at them, and no one can explain the number of deaths.

Fantastic Read and Narration

Sean Drummond is one heck of a character and the storylines that he lives are always see gripping and exciting. I highly recommend both the audio book and the paperback to get the full feel for Drummond and his sarcastic and dry humor.

Read the book twice and it's message should be told to all my fellow leaders in the military.
