Story
Growing up as a classically trained ballerina with dreams of being a professional dancer, balance was my life. Everything about me depended on it; my diet, my temper, my sleep and waking schedule. I even dedicated myself to rigorous yoga and martial arts training to learn how to maintain focus by balancing my breath. Balance was literally my everything.

Get to the point

Omg why is it taking so long for this book to take off. I’m on chapter 4 and I’m calling it a quits. There’s no character dialogue. There’s a lot of explaining thoughts and internal feelings. No actual conversation between the characters. I didn’t like it

Story
From Season 3 of VH1’s hit reality television show Love & Hip Hop - New York, Winter Ramos delivers a brazen and unabashed memoir of her life in the world of hip hop. In Game Over, Winter puts all of her emotions on the page, leaving no experience, emotional abuse, secret, or former lover uncovered. Winter was privy to the cray beyond the videos, private flights, and limos that the cameras caught for us. Her reality and theirs was no game.

The narrator sounded so scripted and too proper for this kind of book. It made the story line extremely dry.

REPEAT OVER AND OVER
Reviewed: 04-21-23
I love this story line but it’s just a repeat of 2 and 1. The readers don’t have to be reminded of every character’s back story every time their name is mentioned. The history of Big monk and face was brought up every time either one of their names were mentioned. I found myself skipping through half the book

Story
The past few months have been a living hell for Persia. Seemingly overnight, she has fallen from grace and found herself scraping rock bottom, all in the name of two lovers - Chucky and cocaine. One was supposed to love her and the other take away the pain, but they've both fallen short on their promises. The last time she saw either one of them was the night she almost lost her life.

I’m still reading but I just can’t get over the fact that every other page is a rewind or book 1. I get updating the readers so we don’t forget the story line but it was overdone. Other than that I love it
