About this listen

You ever wonder what events led up to an individual’s inability to trust in love?

Rayna Brimm survives a series of betrayals and loss, only to forge ahead into self-preservation. After receiving her degree, she finds herself in California and tries to build a self-contained life.

Enter Azmir Jacobs. A tall, dark, handsome, and very wealthy man, whose street credibility and executive power in the corporate world has beautiful women at his beck and call. However, only one woman has caught his eye: the resilient Rayna Brimm, who turns out to be more than he bargained for.

Even though both have checkered pasts, can Azmir conceal his convoluted life long enough to prove he can provide Rayna the stable and reliable love she clearly needs and deserves?

I loved everything about this book. I binged the series on Kindle and plan on doing the same with Audible. I would love to see this turned into a movie with Kofi Siriboe as Azmire🔥🔥 Another great one from Love Belvin👏👏

LOVE LOST: Love Improbable Possibility

I wish one of the narrators would’ve been Mr. Gates or Jacobi! Those two are fantastic!!!

I love this series!

This is a well written book with two characters who clearly need to be together. However, it’s slow going and at times you want to yell at Rayna and Azmir. I can’t wait for the rest of the series to drop.

Good Book

The storyline was great. Definitely kept my interest. The male narrator was horrible though. I would be all in while Wesleigh was narrating but as soon as Myles came in I got immediately annoyed. I want to listen to the other books in the series but I don’t know if I can continue listening to his annoying voice. Other than him..I’d definitely recommend.

AZMIR AZMIR AZMIR

Azmir is by far my favorite of the men in the LBU. The stories of both Rayna and Azmir are so layered it’s very easy to get caught up in just wanting to know more about them together and individually. I don’t love the way book 1 ends but I’m looking forward to the audio experience of the rest of the series.

Narrator

The guy narrating was the absolute worst. As soon as he started I was ready to return the book. He doesn’t let the words flow naturally and he drags out each word at the end of each sentence. His voice demonstrating female characters are cringing. I hope to never hear his voice again on any book I listen to.

the book was good but...

narrators make a difference! he could have done a better job at changing his rhythm. it was just so predictable I anticipated every pause. it drove me insane.

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend it. I wish this book was a movie or TV series. A great author! However you don't have to use God's name in vain to have a great book. This author is a great writer.

Loved it! Need a better Male Narrator

I loved this story. I’m so excited to dive into another series! However the Male narrator is horrible. He does this weird whisper at the end of each sentence. lol But I got over it eventually in order to finish the book.
