Story
Morgan, an elite track athlete, is forced to transfer high schools late in her senior year after it turns out being queer is against her private Catholic school's code of conduct. There, she meets Ruby, who has two hobbies: tinkering with her baby blue 1970 Ford Torino and competing in local beauty pageants, the latter to live out the dreams of her overbearing mother. The two are drawn to each other and can't deny their growing feelings.

Story
The last person Griffin Shipley expects to find stuck in a ditch on his Vermont country road is his ex-hookup. Five years ago, they’d shared a couple of steamy nights together. But that was a lifetime ago. At 27, Griff is now the accidental patriarch of his family farm. Even his enormous shoulders feel the strain of supporting his mother, three siblings, and a dotty grandfather. He doesn’t have time for the sorority girl who’s shown up expecting to buy his harvest at half price.

So so enjoyable, but the ending left me feeling very bereft

I loved this book! I picked it up with the audible romance readers club recommendation and instantly loved it. The characters were cute and fun and just the right amount of angst to make their lives more realistic. That being said the ending wasn’t enough for me. Don’t get me wrong you get all the Happily ever after that you want but there are so many unanswered questions! I’m sadly one of those people that if there is a problem in the book I need it wrapped up before the ending. Anyways, I’m jumping to the second book in hopes that it will give me the closer I didn’t receive with this book.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves food or farm boys! It’s very well written!

Story
Uilleam MacRieve, a centuries-old Lykae warrior, was captured, caged, and experimented on by a shadowy human order, along with other immortals. During a prison break that devolved into one of the bloodiest massacres in recent history, he escapes. But the aftermath of his unspeakable torture preys on his damaged mind, while the wolf inside him roars for vengeance and carnage. In the days leading up to the full moon, can MacRieve rein in his beast, even when he encounters his mate - a vexingly impossible female unlike anything he'd ever dreamed for himself?

Love Robert Petkoff!
Reviewed: 07-17-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Macrieve to be better than the print version?
Absolutely! Robert Petkoff does an amazing job with Macrieve's accent bringing a whole new light to the book.
Have you listened to any of Robert Petkoff’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is as amazing as all of his other books that I've listened too!
Any additional comments?
I'm totally in love with the immortals after dark series. This book isn't my favorite in the series but its still really good! This is worth the read.
