Story
When Don't Know Much About History first appeared, it created a sensation. With humor, great stories, and a trademark conversational style, the audiobook brought Americans a fresh new take on history. Davis proved that Americans don't hate history - they just hate the dull textbook version they were force-fed in school.

DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT HISTORY
Reviewed: 11-10-23
These books by Kenneth Davis (two books set) were so informative intertwined with so much serious humor. I couldn’t stop listening while traveling. I learned so much, in addition to learning why our youth will never know the true history, which will inevidently continue hatred among ourselves.

Story
We all know that the greatest commandment is to love. However, relatively few of us know how to express our love in the heart language of our family and friends. Fortunately, in The Five Love Languages Gary Chapman identifies the five primary love languages and teaches us how to use these languages to express our love.

At a time I was struggling

This book changed my life. As I was putting on my makeup one day going to my granddaughters birthday party (she was just a child), I realized that I was going to be late. I thought about this book and stopped dead. Remembering what I had read, I realized that it was more important that I be on time for HER party than finishing my makeup. I left and and made it on time. My granddaughter was so happy.. Thank you Chapman for the lightbulb moment or enlightenment.

Not Always What it Seems

The Five People You Meet in Heaven was recommended to me by a dear and close friend. It went unlistened to for quite a while because it wasn't a "first page grabber". I knew what it was going to say anyway. (Or so I thought!)
This book is truly a life changer and I recommend it to anyone.
