Both Jack London and John Lee are masterful. Together, they help the listener discern those things that are most elemental and nourishing in this harsh, confusing world: inner grit, an unconquerable will, and the call of the wild.

A refreshing historical analysis that rejects modern biases. At a time when everything is anti-European and anti-Christian, this title seeks to set the record straight. The Christian and European defenders of the West are shown in their true light, as met, but nevertheless, fearless, Inspiring, almost superhuman leaders. A superb achievement of European history.

Andy Serkis proves he is one of the most versatile, gifted voice actors of his generation. He summons to life the characters of this masterpiece of literature by invoking the voices of the actors from Peter Jackson’s equally masterful work. He adds a reader’s passion to his skillful characterizations.

Simply outstanding work.

The title of my review says it all. The Storm of Steel has been described as a celebration of warfare. It is not. Rather, it is a celebration of manhood when manhood is tested to the limits. For this reason, it is precisely the kind of literature that is needed by today’s soft and misguided generation. There never has been and never will be a substitute for masculine virtues. The Storm of Steel is an account of such virtues—courage, duty, and hardihood among others. Excellent memoir, excellent narration.

A mini classic of our times. Very timely, given the generation we find ourselves in. A thorough study of virtue and valor.
