Story
The murder of Abraham Lincoln set off the greatest manhunt in American history. From April 14 to April 26, 1865, the assassin, John Wilkes Booth, led Union cavalry and detectives on a wild 12-day chase through the streets of Washington, DC, across the swamps of Maryland, and into the forests of Virginia while the nation, still reeling from the just-ended Civil War, watched in horror and sadness.

Good tale, but...

I feel that Swanson, the author, has developed Stockholm Syndrome in regards to JWB. I know he's written a few books about the era, some which I have read. I just felt like the author was rooting for JWB.
Swanson belittles the Union calvary for not immediately shooting down JWB, when the orders were to bring the assassin in alive.

Story
A serious attack against Christianity by well-known newspaper editor Robert Blatchford in 1903 impelled Chesterton to seize the gauntlet of refutation. His reply was immensely successful and was the early formation of his convincing credo that is so brilliantly and cogently argued in Orthodoxy, a masterwork that was published just five years later.

Story
Nathan G. Castle weaves his own story into the timeless classic with warmth and a delightful sense of humor. At first glance the book's approach is slightly unconventional and perhaps a touch irreverent, given that the author is a Catholic priest who bravely shares his belief that God loves everybody wildly, extravagantly, beyond belief - and beyond belief systems.
