Dune Messiah begins taking you down one path that appears immutable, but Moad'Dib takes the path only he can see with his prescience. One of the best books I've listened to. A sequel that rivals its predecessor and exceeds it in my opinion.

The mixture of voice actors really makes the flow of the book make more sense and does wonders to create a strong mental image of the story. It's hard to not imagine the 1984 and 2024 films when listening, but the audiobook creates a unique imagery all its own. Worthy of being on the annual listening list.

Fantastic twists and turns. The story fits right in with the best of Doctor Who. Alex Kingston is brilliant in her reading and brings the story to life in ways only she can. A must read/listen for any Doctor Who fan...especially fans of the River Song story arch.

This duo of readers do a great job of enriching the experience of hearing the references and multiple sources while giving the actual narrative the performance it deserves. Essential Tolkien in my opinion.

Christopher Lee was the perfect person to read such a powerful and sad story. He brought to the story the weight it truly deserves.

The narration was well done and made the mix of technical description and dialog very easy and enjoyable to listen to. The content of Tolkien's writings bring even more of the Silmarillion, Hobbit and LOTR to life and enriches the view of Tolkiens middle earth beyond what I thought possible.
