Great conversations about import issues!
Reviewed: 03-25-24
So thrilled to be hearing all of your voices again! I never missed the Cross Connection and was so po'd when you suddenly weren't there, Tiffany! Andrew, I was equally po'd that you were denied the Governorship of FL. We all see what a disaster THAT'S been for the poor citizens of FL having to deal the DeFascist d-bag. And Angela - looking forward to getting to "know" you (sorry, not a fan of CNN). Thanks for speaking out about your experience & glad both Cuomos have gotten their comeuppance!

Love the books, hate the new female narrator
Reviewed: 02-26-22
I've read all the books and loved them, and I loved the audiobooks of 1-4. However, the new female narrator is horrible...her voice & intonations made me want to pour bleach in my ears! She needs to find a new profession or stick to narrating soft core porn. Thank God for Will M. Watts...he is fantastic!.

Story
In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women—mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends—view one another. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope, The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.

My Favorite Audiobook

I LOVE this audiobook. The Help is one of my favorite books, and I even thought the movie was great, but he Audiobook version is so well-done,. All of the actors/readers are fantastic-they completely immerse you in the characters and the story. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Horrifyingly prescient & cautionary tale for us all. Stay "woke", sisters...Gilead has already started to infiltrate America.
