Story
In this work on a subject too often dismissed as paranormal or disreputable, Jeffrey Meldrum gives us the first book on Sasquatch to be written by a scientist with impeccable academic credentials. He gives an objective look at the facts in a field mined with hoaxes and sensationalism. Meldrum reports on the work of a team of experts from a wide variety of fields who were assembled to examine the evidence for a large, yet undiscovered, North American primate. He reviews the long history of this mystery and explains all the scientific pros and cons in a clear and accessible style.

I have enjoyed listening to this book time and time again. One of my favorites on the subject of the wild ones that are known by many names.

Story
Power is changing. Private corner offices and management by decree are out, as is unquestioned trust in the government and media. These former pillars of traditional power have been replaced by networks of informed citizens who collectively wield more power over their personal lives, employers, and worlds than ever before. So how do you navigate this new landscape and come out on top? Adam Grant, Wharton organizational psychologist, went to the World Economic Forum in Davos, the epicenter of power, and sat down with thought leaders from around the world, to find out.

Empowering view - Enjoyed it!

I would recommend: Power Moves - Lessons from Davos. Although this is not a book I would typically seek out, it was something I really enjoyed. Despite not being able to finish my bachelor's in college because of circumstances outside of my control... This book really put into words that we do have impact and influence especially when focused on Humanity. People that are givers actually perform better overall than takers. It also focuses on emotional intelligence and its role in the workplace. Through this book, I was able to see that I tend to use Informational Power. He even briefly discussed Executive Assistants and how they have access to a great deal of data. Overall, the book was empowering and worth listening to.
