Nobody knows about her intimate connection to Shane Nelson, one of the penitentiary’s most notorious and dangerous inmates.

I found the protagonist to be somewhat annoying and flighty with her loyalty and “love”. But aren’t we all annoying in some sense? It was a good story and I enjoyed it.

Story
Never before have women been in such a hurry to do so many things and be there for so many people. The pace of modern life has drastically increased - but even though our minds can go faster and technology allows us to get more done, our bodies still have cavewoman-like biology - which means they cannot respond healthily to the new and constant pressures we experience. In this book, nutritional biochemist Dr. Libby Weaver explains how a stressful, fast-paced lifestyle can have dangerous effects on all areas of a woman's health.

A story told richly. What a wonderful and emotional journey. When you get to where you are going but you don’t want to leave the story, you know it’s good. Well done!

Story
The book would be most useful to students looking to start and finish their thesis or dissertation. Advisors may recommend this book for their students at the early stage of their research project or if they struggle at any stage. The book addresses the big picture of the research journey, and provides advice on how to manage the entire process. I have seen the best students get stuck. All they needed to triumph was a piece of advice.

I liked the content and found it useful. I understand the need to annunciate however I nearly bailed out during the intro because it felt as if a kindergarten teacher were reading to me. Glad I stuck with it.

Story
When Claire sees Hannah Wilson at an exclusive Manhattan hair salon, it's like a knife slicing through barely healed scars. It may have been 10 years since Claire last saw Hannah, but she has thought of her every day, and not in a good way. So Claire does what anyone would do in her position - she stalks her. Hannah is now Mrs. Carter, living the charmed life that should have been Claire's. It's the life Claire used to have before Hannah came along and took it all away from her.

Disappointing on a few levels.

I couldn’t get through it. The main character isn’t just flawed. I found her so detestable that I stopped rooting for her before I could start. Some of the situations were a little unrealistic. They also picked the wrong narrator. The voice of the narrator sounds much older than 20-something and the sarcasm was so overdramatized I finally gave up on the story and accepted I had wasted a credit.
