Narration was good. The male narrator could use a bit of practice with his Russian accent but he did a good job narrating the book.
The story was sweet and predictable.
It was a nice read.

Briar, Caleb and Dean

The narration was excellent. The storyline was very good. A married couple (Caleb and Briar) who love each other and are going through fertility struggles lose some of the intimacy they once shared due to the unsexy, scheduled baby-making process. In addition, they aren’t very good at communicating their inner desires to each other.
Dean is a former (age 14) first boyfriend of Caleb’s younger brother. As the son (the brother) of a famous preacher, any hint of queerness must be hidden away. As a result, Dean loses his contact with the family and eventually, the brother leaves.
Years later, Dean needs a place to live due to a fire and the couple offer him their garage apartment. You can read the book to find out the details of the story.
The book is well written and the story, the characters and their decisions all make sense.

I’m used to dark romance so take this with a grain of salt…This was a good book. Nice. Family secrets revealed, step brothers who aren’t really step brothers fell in love which makes it taboo…but not. Not much conflict but enough to make it interesting. The brothers came together to support their “brothers’ relationship”. It was good m—not great.

The narration is done by Andrew Eiden so it’s 5⭐️. The story has potential but it’s written in third person which, especially in audiobooks, is cumbersome.
I wish I could return this. I’m very disappointed.

The narration was good. The story kept me interested. If you like morally charcoal MMCs, you’ll like this one. The FMC was likable but she made some stupid decisions for herself which I found to be eyerollingly cringey 🙄. It’s a dark romance so check the TWs. I would’ve liked more closure at the end. Overall, it was good.

The narrators were good but weren’t suited (for me) to do this kind of book. She was a bit too posh and he was a bit too Austin Powers. This is just a “me thing”. They’re both very good narrators.
The story was bland and uninteresting. There was no conflict until a slight kerfuffle toward the end. Emphasis on slight.
The spicy scenes were ok. Not particularly interesting. Just about what’s expected in this kind of book. Nothing out of the ordinary.
I’m disappointed. I was really looking forward to this series but frankly, I forwarded through the last 90 minutes or so just to get to the end. I don’t plan to continue with the series.

Slow but good; female narrator is too slow

The story was well written but it moved so slowly I was kind of bored. By the end, I was so frustrated with one of the side characters, I wanted to scream. And I truly didn’t care what happened. I just wanted to get to the end. The spice was very mild in this incredibly slow slow burn.
The female narrator was a shock to me. Her voice is robotic and unemotional. And slow. So slow and monotone.
Overall, the book is good. Not up to JH’s normal standard but good.
I must confess, I was disappointed with this book.

The book opens with the FMC having been held captive and tortured by the family of the 4 MMCs—not the MMCs themselves. Upon seeing the first MMC, she was so turned on that she had to be with him immediately. Right there in her cell where she had been whipped and her fingernails had been torn off. Really? C’mon. And then she worked her way through the other 3 before we got into much plot. All of a sudden, they’re all in love. Still not much plot. Hours of schmex with very little story. If you’re looking for mostly spice, this is a book for you. The narration is great. The book is well-written with regard to dialogue, sentence structure and things like that. Maybe it’s just me. I couldn’t relate to the characters. They seemed shallow and underdeveloped. Also, be warned…two of the four MMCs are bio brothers and there is some interaction between them. They also use blood for lube. This one just wasn’t for me. Not enough substance. Just mindnumbing schmex scenes in an hours long sequence with a small bit of story sprinkled in to connect them…until the last 30 minutes or so. Then it set up a cliffhanger. Finally some plot! I am disappointed. I really wanted to love this. I will not be continuing to book 2.

Go in blind. Trust the author to tell you this incredible story. Be prepared for an emotional ride.
The narration was perfect. It wasn’t overly dramatic or overdone. It was so natural it made me just feel the story without any distraction.
The entire experience was superb.

I’ve listened to every book in the 5 Points/Sinners/Valentini’s world. They’re all 5⭐️ for me but this book is a million stars.
The narration is incredible. Stella and Jason ARE Storm and Keira.
The story itself was a risk for Serena to write. I’m sure it was pretty difficult for her. The way she shows us the raw, gritty, heartbreaking and devastatingly sad things life throws at Storm, Keira and Cyan is so honest and so real. She took Storm who cheated on his wife and made us not only understand why but empathize with him! She showed us that Keira bore quite a bit of the responsibility in the failure of the marriage. She showed us the devastating consequences of how the dysfunctional parental relationship affected Cyan.
This book is one I’ll carry with me forever. It is in my soul now.
I sobbed after I finished it. I’ve shed tears after 3 or 4 books. I have over 3,000 books in my library if that tells you anything.
I’m so glad Serena had the courage to write and publish this book. It is absolutely incredible.
