First. I’m 100% obsessed with this series, but I didn’t think I’d like Ukuri.
Moreover, I didn’t think I would enjoy this book as much as I savored Atana. While Atana is an unhinged guy with nothing to lose, Ukuri KNOWS he’s a bad guy. Right or wrong, it’s all for science after all.
“What do you want, a medal?”
Ukuri: “Yeah, that would be great, make sure you can read it from a distance.” Bwahahaha
This book had me grinning with happiness for a guy I hated in the first book. I always suspected that Ukuri was the “I’ll destroy the world to save you” guy instead of the other way around.
This proves it and he’s really amazing. I added this book to my very short list of favorites.
Thank you for writing it! Please make more so I can throw more of my hard-earned adult money at you!

This book is fast and VERY Steamy with two great characters that were made for each other. Can’t get enough of these guys. At this point, Ella Maven is an auto buy. The readers are FANTASTIC! Thank you Mam!

I didn't think I could get more obsessed with this series...and then Ranse happened. This is by far the best book in the series so far and the first two were OUTSTANDING. The political intrigue is top-notch and adds so much to the story. Ranse isn't like the other two Arrisans because nobles live by a different set of rules. He's still a blade, which is great, and his life is very unique. The Kingmaker really earns her title in this. My favorite line from her is, "What are you going to do? Vote no twice?"

The scenes where Ranse and Ali are working together are just so good. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time.
JF Harding is next-level good, can't get enough of that guy's narration.

If you have not given this series a try, go back and listen from the beginning. I would give this book more than 5 stars if I could.
Ms. Night, respectfully, shut up and take my money.

It ain't easy being a caveman. It's Romance done right but from all the angles you didn't think were possible. The Caveman is the POV character and I found myself hungry for knowledge about the circumstances. No spoilers there, you have to read that bit for yourself. This book shredded me and left me with so many questions and realizations about the story.
If you like bittersweet stories that are kinda reminiscent of Anime, get this, It will shock you with how deeply it will reach into your chest and come away with your heart. You will be wondering where your caveman is. Read this book. Just do it. I own over 300+ audio titles and this made it into my top ten.
I had never heard Chris Chambers read anything before but I thought he did amazing. He really captured Ehd's practical innocence. Thanks for the great book recommendation BookTok!

This place has a big Universe with lots of history and lore, fun, sardonic, hot AF alien warriors, and a matriarchal society that is fresh out of matriarchs. I can't wait to see how the Drixonian Warriors get their groove back.
Not just this book is great, but they all are. I am a connoisseur of alien abduction romance and this series has me invested for the long haul. Thank you for writing it. The narrators are really awesome as well!
My complaint is that they each need to be 15,000 words longer. The dialogue between the main characters and the extended familial relationships are so rich and enjoyable, it would not be indulgent to write some fun scenes that give information but don't mess with the plot. The characters are worth it.
Regardless, this is a shut up and take my money situation. Please write twenty (or more) of these books for my sanity?

Sassy, feisty female characters who like to fight? Enjoyable male protagonists? Clever dialogue-heavy story written in third person? ALL. THE. YES. Yes yes yes! I had reservations about reading this series but those are all gone. Shut up and take my money. Also, write more.
I have one complaint. These books are so good, they deserve to be longer. There are a few scenes that spoken of in past tense that the reader doesn't get to see. I would have loved to read/listen to those more intimate scenes that bring characters closer. This book is amazing (this and the one before it), there is no need to boil anything down. Every scene is enjoyable and I nearly forgot they were supposed to be having sex. Good job getting me lost in the universe! Make it 10,000 words longer, please, and thank you!

This was a great story that skirts the line of ridiculous fantasy with well... even more ridiculous fantasy. In a word, it's FANTASTIC. The premise of reading the "manuals" and preloading in regards to alien culture is pretty brilliant as most of these styles of stories spend the first part of the book dealing with the whole "you took me from Earth, how dare you," issue. This book railroads past all that noise. The heroine is genuinely likable which is really nice. The sexy time is awesome.
Please shut up and take my money. I really like the reader though the editing at one point kind of runs over itself. It's a little weird but forgivable because he's a great reader. One complaint, where are the rest of my books? Give them to me right meow!

I feel really sorry that this dragon has made such a poor choice in a mate.
I trust this author, she’s never let me down on probably 20+ books but this heroine... I’ve never thought to myself “oh, her life is in danger. Good! I hope she gets killed so we won’t have to deal with her anymore.”
But this time...wow this girl just complains about EVERYTHING and nothing is a good enough and she keeps wanting to go back to the same abusers and her inner monologue is tedious.
On the other hand, the sex is excellent. I’m moving on to the other books because I know what the author is capable of. Hoping for the best.

Pure, sweet, delicious fan service. I was grinning from ear to ear the entire listen. The readers are really amazing in this one. Ezo is so likeable. He's naive, enthusiastic, yet still so Alien. Make no mistake, there is nothing I didn't like about this book.

Ana is selfish but she's very self-aware and that really sells her character. I never disliked her for what she did and she gets to the right/ honest place eventually. There is one scene in the story that seems to have been taken out and is talked about in the past tense. I felt cheated out of that bit of story since this is so short and Ezo is so damn adorable. I wanted all of his minutes. I love that he's a nobody. He's not important, he's just a guy trying to do the right thing. I was honestly shocked that he didn't get more upset about how he was tricked. That speaks to his level of trust and loyalty.

*holds plate out* "Please, may I have some more?"
