About this listen

The former head of the Pentagon program responsible for the investigation of UFOsnow known as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP)reveals long-hidden truths with profound implications for not only national security but our understanding of the universe.

Luis “Lue” Elizondo is a former senior intelligence official and special agent who was recruited into a strange and highly sensitive US Government program to investigate UAP incursions into sensitive military installations and air space. To accomplish his mission, Elizondo had to rely on decades of experience gained working some of America’s most sensitive and classified programs. Even then, he was not prepared for what he would learn, and the truth about the government’s long shadowy involvement in UAP investigations, and the lengths officials would take to keep them a secret.

The stakes could not be higher. Imminent is a first-hand, revelatory account inside the Pentagon’s most closely guarded secret and a call to action to confront humanity’s greatest existential questions.

Editorial Review

Are aliens real?
I’m what you might call alien agnostic. I’ve never worn a tinfoil hat. I’ve never watched The X Files. But I am a Jodie Foster fan, and as her character in Contact argues, the sheer vastness of the universe makes it a reasonable bet that there are other life-forms out there. But I never put much thought into it beyond that. Then, in 2017, The New York Times dropped its bombshell report that there was a secret Pentagon program investigating UFOs, and that US Navy pilots had witnessed flying objects that seemed to have inexplicable technological capabilities. The Pentagon has been tamping down the story ever since, saying there’s no evidence of “off-world technology.” But then again, the Pentagon isn’t known for being super forthright. All of this is to say, I am highly anticipating the release of Imminent, the ominously titled book from Luis Elizondo, a whistleblower and former director of the Pentagon program charged with investigating UFOs, now called “unidentified anomalous phenomenon.” So, hold on to your tinfoil hats, this listen may have a few bombshells of its own. — Phoebe N., Audible Editor

The Most important revelations in the history of humanity!

Lue’s story is full of shocking new information, including confirmation of so many famous cases. He is a selfless Hero. He doesn’t like to be called a Hero, but he is the definition of one. He is admired, noble, courageous, and exemplary. He endured devastating sacrifices that changed his life and caused him suffering. He deserves the love and appreciation from the entire World. The book is easy to read, the audio is entertaining because of his voice and emphasis. It is impossible to stop listening! The reader will probably want to finish it all at once! This is easily the BEST UFO/UAP book. Thank you Lue! One day there will be a statue in your honor because you changed our perception of the World, and possibly, united the human race! Once everyone understands that what he is saying is THE TRUTH, we will see each other as one.

True hero in all regards!! Bringer of Truth

Absolutely compelling alarming somber book by a true by all definitions hero. A man’s man and someone with old fashioned honor, which is hard to find nowadays. Sad that him and his family had to go through. But Lou Elizondo will be forever remembered as humanities superhero. It was an honor to read.

Amazing

Finally able to hear firsthand Lue's story in his own words. I do hope congress gets their copy and listens to it. This is what the government and contractors have been hiding for 70 years.

Must read for any skeptic!!!

A but melodramatic at times (it’s a memoir, remember), but chock full of the important names, policies, offices, and cases which have helped foment the disclosure movement to its current head. If you’re new to the UFO/UAP scene, this is worth a read. Then go verify everything referenced online. You’ll be shocked to find out just how real it all is. Happy reading!

Very well written

This is one of those books like many written from people from the intelligence community where what is between the lines is every bit as telling as what is being outright said.

Good read by Lue, still no resolution

Lue is a good communicator. The book is well laid out. Not too long, yet thorough. The personal details were interesting and touching at times. The essential fact remains: there is still no smoking gun. The book is very much a work of "trust me, bro" unfortunately. I get it, NDA, DOPSR, yada yada. Cool to hear it in his own words but the moderate to advanced UFO student should only read this for completeness, not revelations. I hope Lue proves to be the real deal, trying within the law to speak truth to power. Without hard evidence, it's equally possible to believe a career spook is doing his patriotic duty in spinning a yarn to "keep the country safe". We as outsiders simply can't know which path is true. I respect Lue's service and duty to stay free for his family, but sometimes you have to break a law that is unjust if the truth is truly that big. I hope the pressure on the corrupt government leads to real disclosure. It's your money. They owe it to you. Otherwise you're just a tax slave in corrupt kingdom ruled not by laws or "the people" or senators or presidents, but by corporate tyrants and the banking cartel that protects the secretkeepers. If disclosure happens, Lue is a national hero and can rightly take credit. I hope so. Time will tell.

Blows your Mind

While there are many things still blocked by USG security requirements this book does offer much new information and insights about the UAP/UFO Phenomenon. This includes many detailed examples of U.S. military interactions and evidence of non human intelligence origins. It was fascinating and I want to catch some of the reviews on You Tube.
