Story
At some point, every one of us embarks on a journey to find love. We meet people, date, get into and out of relationships, all with the hope of finding someone with whom we share a deep connection. This seems standard now, but it’s wildly different from what people did even just decades ago. Single people today have more romantic options than at any point in human history. With technology, our abilities to connect with and sort through these options are staggering. So why are so many people frustrated?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, it certainly made me think about the pros and cons of the online dating world, and I learned a little bit about dating in the past as well.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Modern Romance?
Learning about the strait forward approach the french take to dating.
What does Aziz Ansari and Eric Klinenberg bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
My sister recommended the book to me, and being an avid audio book person I decided to check it out on Audible. And after listening I cannot imagine experiencing this book any other way. Aziz is a funny guy, this book certainly discuses a semi-serious topic, but he keeps everything light and humorous.
What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?
Maybe not judging people too harshly on a first meet.
