Love the way that this author tackled heavy topics and content in a tasteful manner and fleshed out the emotional struggles of the primary characters. The voice acting was top-tier. Would definitely recommend.

Simply blown away with the creativity of this story and excellent delivery. I have read/listened to few books as detailed and well layered. Remained at the edge of my seat listening to the final two hours of this gem!

Tommy Wallach kills it again. Intriguing story and concept. Great performances from a talented cast.

This audible original is by my estimation 5 to 6 hours too long and featured pointless and arbitrary content that lent nothing to the main plot. The above word “plot” is used generously as this is an amalgam of poorly defined storylines and genres. It was not Sci-Fi enough to provide intrigue and not Young Adult enough to provide endearment to the characters. I found it to be a an utter bore. Kirby Heyborne performed well as always but not quite enough to save this miserable project. Take a hard pass on this one.

No discernible plot? Check. Boring, undeveloped characters? Check. Crude and borderline perverted sexual content? Check. Faked Boston/ British accents and childish sound effects from the cast? Check. Yup seems about right. This is truly the worst book I have ever taken in to my brain. Lunacy not literature; imbecilic not insightful. Dear author Chris Beckett, I will see you in Eden because it sure felt like the depths of heck to me!

The story is fresh and the characters rich. The relationships are everything you could ask for. Just listen to We All Looked Up... You'll thank me later.

All the Bright Places is not what I was expecting, it was better. It was full of emotion and left me thinking days after. Thanks to the author for being brave enough to write this book.

Captivating! Emotional! Inspiring!

What was one of the most memorable moments of I'll Give You the Sun?

The heartbreaking moment when the mother drives away but makes it clear she loves her son.

Which scene was your favorite?

Oscar and Jude's first meeting

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes I finished it faster than any other audiobook I've owned!

Any additional comments?

This was the best book I've listened to/read all year. I felt changed for the better after reading it. The characters were rich and easy to empathize with. The narration was fantastic and artfully done. Jandy Nelson is a talented and creative storyteller who deserves recognition for her work of art!
