Story
On the surface Ben seems to have it all: money, influence, good looks. He smiles and jokes in all the right places, but it's all a façade. Inside he's a wreck, and it's only getting worse. With his congressman father using Ben's recent kidnapping for his own political agenda and Ben still struggling to get over the only guy he's ever loved, he feels like he's losing his grip on reality, and he's quickly spiraling out of control. Then he meets Dante, an enigma of a man with as much self-hatred as Ben has.

I’ve enjoyed this series. How the characters play a part from each book onto the next. Very well written and composed.

Story
Since 9/11, Brooklyn firefighter Griff Muir has wrestled with impossible feelings for his best friend and partner at Ladder 181, Dante Anastagio. Unfortunately, Dante is strictly a ladies’ man, and the FDNY isn’t exactly gay-friendly. For ten years, Griff has hidden his heart in a half-life of public heroics and private anguish. Griff’s caution and Dante’s cockiness make them an unbeatable team. To protect his buddy, there’s nothing Griff wouldn’t do… until a nearly bankrupt Dante proposes the worst possible solution: HotHead.com, a gay porn website where uniformed hunks get down and dirty.

A must Listen

What did you love best about Hot Head?
Charlie David is one of the most amazing narrators out there. He makes you feel like you right there in the middle of everything. You can visualize each character, what they look like, what actions are taking place.
What did you like best about this story?
I can't say that there is just one thing. I loved every little thing detail and thing about this story.
Which character – as performed by Charlie David – was your favorite?
My favorite would have to be Griff for sure. I just see a personal connection and understanding with him.
If you could take any character from Hot Head out to dinner, who would it be and why?
It would definitely have to be Griff. His personality, loving heart, shyness, romantic and passionate self, let alone the physical traits of being a ginger and big beefy guy is just what I like.
Any additional comments?
I've listened to this book at least 5 times and each time I do I end up wishing that it was made into a movie because I'd love to see it put into an actual visual watching version.
