This audio book was an interesting story. It reminded me a lot of the James Bond Movie, "From Russia With Love." You had. the Superpowers involved, along with a private bad guy manipulating all sides...and the fate of the world was on the line. Scott, the narrator, should be an actor. He does a good job with all the characters.

I enjoyed this one, although I had trouble following who was where doing what because there were multiple plots going on at the same time that seemed to be separate. But that made the story interesting.

I didn't think it was possible, but Cussler's books are as good or better. I really look forward to the next one.

This was a good one for keeping your attention and interesting enough for you to easily pick up where you left off without forgetting where you were in the story.

This was a real good story with a lot of tentacles of the story converging into one. Cussler always tells a story from history and ties to the present. This one was a good one and made for a great end.

This was a really good story. The humor was there, but this ordeal was tense and like film-noir, it had a little regret in it as well.

I judge books by how they keep my interest. With audible books, i judge by how quickly to finish and how sorry I am to stop listening. This a blink-&-it's-over book. I almost gave up important duties and tasks to listen. Highly recommended.

What A Web That Meets In The Middle

Cussler is a master of interweaving multiple seemingly unrelated stories together to meet late in the story. Only then do you see the connection. It definitely keeps you locked in and wanting more.

Good Story of the American Robin Hood

Overall
5 out of 5 stars

Reviewed: 09-11-21

I thought this was an entertaining tale of America's version of Robin Hood. Kill and steal from organized crime and give to the unfortunate. Society loves the fantasy about Robin Hood, but turf-protecting bureaucrats in government don't. Reacher, unfortunately would be six feet under some prison somewhere with all his gray area crimes. The evil crimes are represented by the color black, but his pure unselfish motives are represented by the color white. Mixed you get gray. Some folks can live with that, like Reacher, while others see things in black/white, right/wrong. To them their is no context in crimes. So, maybe this story doesn't happen in real life, but it sure was fun to read about.
