Story
This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

Mini movie to listen to!

First of all, I am a puddle of GOO because of this story. I melted. It is so sweet ans exactly what I look for in a feel good romcom story. So glad I picked this up. I would love to see more audiobooks like this, although it feels much more like an audio drama or an audio story. The subtle sound design was incredible and the whole cast was perfect. Synthetic voices COULD NEVER. I loved the humanity of the whole experience. The two leads were perfectly cast and the chemistry between them was so cute. Definitely grabbing more from this author!

Story
As the eldest daughter of famous parents, Luna Hale is anything but normal. She escapes most days inside the fandoms she loves and the fics she writes, and she’s accepted that real life just sucks more than fiction. But there is someone who could rival every swoony man inside her imagination. And he only lives three floors below her. Too bad he’s incredibly off-limits.

Still my favorite series

Not only have I loved every book in this series, it has consistently delivered in the audio versions of each novel. This is a series that I always read the ebook first and then listen to the audio because it's such a great listening experience. Both narrators delivered on the emotional experience you would expect from Luna and Donnelly. I'm reading book 2 now and I can't wait to listen to the next audiobook. These still remain my favorite series of ebooks and audiobooks.

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. Tatiana Maslany truly embodies what the book was meant to sound like. She captured Katniss' internal emotional experience perfectly. It felt like I was reading/experiencing the book for the first time all over again. I love when an audiobook is a performance and she more than delivered. Can't wait to continue my re-read on the series. Highly recommend new and old fans listen to this version.

Story
Tourists flock to Mistpoint Harbor to snap photos of the famous lighthouse, browse the Museum of Curses & Curiosities, and claim their “I survived the Most Cursed Town in America!” pin. But for me, growing up in Mistpoint Harbor wasn’t a vacation. Not when locals have a deep-seated loathing for my family. They hate my dad. They hate my older brothers. And they hate me—Zoey Durand, the girl who shrunk in high school at the taunts and jeers. Like a sad wilted flower. If it wasn't for October Brambilla, life would've been a real living hell.

A prototype with a fierce primary directive: Protect her. Oliver is a super-computer built inside a supermodel body; the most luxurious android invented to date. Left collecting dust in storage because of a packaging error, he's finally activated from his prolonged sleep, eager to please his beautiful new owner. Fast paced and enjoyable listen
Reviewed: 07-25-22
I am so busy these days I don't have it in me to listen to a 25 hour audiobook. I had been in a reading slump and this audiobook pulled me right out of it. I haven't read a lot of sci-fi romance so this was a fairly new genre for me. I liked how the story was slow burn. It had really great tension. Even though this was a shorter audiobook I did not feel like the story was rushed at all.
Christian Leatherman's performance was fantastic. It is not easy doing a dual MF POV with only one voice actor, but he really delivered. I really dislike when men do falsetto female voices, and Christian did a fantastic job making the chapter voices sound different without being over the top. He really displayed his vocal range with all the side characters as well. It was very enjoyable to listen to.
Definitely recommend this book if you need something quick and easy to listen to and want a HEA. Really intriguing storyline and plot twists. I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the series and other books by this author.

I was amazed with how great this audiobook was. I have come to expect great audiobooks from the Like Us series, and Maximoff and Farrows books were my favorite.
Until now.
I had already read the book, but was super excited to hear the audiobook performance and I was blown away. These three did such an amazing bringing this story to life. I can't say enough good things about it.
There aren't many series that I consistently read the ebook and listen to the audio for every book. This is one that I always get both and it is 100000% worth it.

Previous novels not required!

When I got this book I didn't realize that it was the 4th book in a larger a series, and was worried that I would be lost. However, the author does a good job of filling in a lot of the backstory and history. I would definitely recommend reading the previous novels in the series for best enjoyment, but I also had no problem listening to the story even though I came in at the 4th book. The prologue really catches you up on the plot points from the previous books.
I did find the chapters to be a little long, but that is just my personal preference. The audiobook is 12 hours long so if you are looking for a big book for your audible credit this one is for you!
The narrator did a fantastic job creating unique voices for each of the characters, and he has a lot of range. His voice was really nice to listen to!
I thought that this story was really interesting, had a lot of action, romance, friendship, and a large cast of characters. There were so many unique people and species, and the author is really creative in how everyone interweaves the story. At times I got a big bogged down by how many different characters there were, and being introduced to so many new ones each chapter. However, I think that may have been because I started with book 4 instead of book 1. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the others.
If you like paranormal stories with lots of creatures and add in a little bit of spice and romance then this book is for you! I definitely recommend checking out the authors backlist so that you can get caught up!
