Narrator ok, but sounded too much like was reading. I mean she wrote this, so why couldn't she ad lib a bit. I feel I would've learned more. What did the Pocom add to this book? Nothing. Skip to the last half of each chapter for the best parts.

Dr. Fauci, and his abhorant role in this debacle, would have lent a great deal towards explaining how badly this was handled. We can always look back and see better what mistakes were made, but he had and still has, such an exaggerated abstraction of his own superiority.
This book was much needed.

As a "scientist" myself of the Adrian variety, I felt a kinship of sorts. Ninety minutes was just long enough to get me hooked on Roth and Couch!!
Narration was acceptable, but as a woman, I have always preferred the voice of a man.
Best part was the orchid drama. [smile]

The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

What did you like best about The Girl on the Train? What did you like least?
The story was captivating, but a little hard to follow with all the characters and the jumbled chronology. I had to listen several times to the story to flow properly. Character development was slow and tedious. The story which this one was compared (see other readers' reviews), in my mind did not correlate. This one is definitely not as well written.
What did you like best about this story?
The ending.
Would you listen to another book narrated by the narrators?
No
Do you think The Girl on the Train needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No followup please.
Any additional comments?
Not my idea of a best seller.

Story
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Would you consider the audio edition of 11-22-63 to be better than the print version?
The difference between audio and print is only in the physical aspects of holding a book and reading to yourself, but your time must be dedicated. Whereas an audio version allows you to do other things at the same time.
What other book might you compare 11-22-63 to and why?
Many of Stephen King's other novels have unusual and sometimes far-fetched concepts, made plausible by the writer. The most recent might be The Dome.
Have you listened to any of Craig Wasson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
If you could alter one event that changed your life, what would it be?
Any additional comments?
I always like the unabridged because I don't want to miss out on anything a favorite author might say.
