Great 2nd book and just like the first book, Ray Porter’s narration helps draw you in as if you’re right there in the story. Looking forward to the 3rd book!!

Her (very complicated) mother has just passed away. And Holly is meant to be on leave. But something in Penny’s desperate voice makes it impossible to turn her down. Leave Your Politics Out Of It
Reviewed: 02-03-24
Ugh! Used to be a SK fan back in the day and wanted to love Holly to put an end to a good series, and it would have been great (although the original narrator would have been better) save for King’s personal opinion about Covid and his political affiliation or preference which is well known. Leave it out of your books or keep it neutral SK. It’s a turn off, and not needed.

We love all the Mark Goodwin books and all are so relevant to our times. We especially enjoy the Bible verses at the start of each chapter. Looking forward to the next one!
