How incredibly inspiring!
I love that she quotes the Bible through her book 😊 too many people are afraid of speaking the truth.

Story
Social scientist Brené Brown has ignited a global conversation on courage, vulnerability, shame, and worthiness. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability—the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome—is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity, and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are, inevitably, going to stumble and fall.

Inspiring on so many levels!!! I HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE listen to this!
I especially loved the information about boundaries... yep, I've allowed myself to be miserable because I stink at setting and defending my personal boundaries.
LISTEN to it!
I will be listening to it again and again.

Incredibly inspiring!
I loved his information, the way it was presented, his humble personality... You can tell he loves what he does, he loves people, he loves what is good and right.
He not only inspires me to want to be more observant about body language, but I have a stronger desire to be more kind and understanding as well...
I would recommend this to EVERYONE!

Story
On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women—mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends—view one another.
