I had to to read this book in school, and found it amazing. it brought back fond memories.
It is refreshing to hear the author reading his own story.
What a fascinating book and I say this book should be put in the schools for the kids of today and the future to enjoy.

Story
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." So begins this classic, one of the most beloved novels of all time. Charles Dickens brings the French Revolution to life through such vivid characters as Charles Darnay, the Old Doctor, Sydney Carton and Lucy Manette. The action peaks with the storming of the Bastille, the dreaded symbol of government authority. And the blade of La Guillotine falls again...

I read this book in the past, in my younger days, so I was familiar with the story.
I enjoyed the narrator and also liked the story. I had forgotten how long this wonderful story takes to read.
My compliments to Audible.com for putting this book in their library.

Eleven storeys high, a sixth of a mile long and a list of passengers collectively worth 250 million dollars…On 10th April 1912 the ‘unsinkable’ Titanic left Southampton on her maiden voyage to New York. At 11.40pm on the 14th April, the Titanic collided with an iceberg and was lost. 1,500 people died in the freezing sea. Legends and stories grew and even now the whole affair still sends shivers down the spine.

I knew about this story before, but it seemed to ramble on in some parts. the narrator was a bit boring in some parts of the story. But I guess he was reading what was in front of him.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I Had previously seen the movie but never read the book. The book covered much more and the story in some places differed from the film. I enjoyed the book much more. Some parts were a bit non family oriented, but it it was enjoyable. It would be much more interesting if infuture audible books when conversations were taking place, that other voices were heard.
