My past: I was 18 when I first gave away my heart. A love so profound, I didn't understand it. My present: I never had to prove she was mine until he makes an appearance. Tall, dark, and older...

Such a twist!!!

I liked listening to the book more than reading it. But I think it’s because Rayden voice is so good and matches with his character.
The story plot still left me speechless but in a good way. I felt it come to live. This story will make you feel so many different things. Zena is such a strong person and I loved the voice behind her. I felt as if I met her. Haha.
Now Lorenzo is how can I put it… Sexy, dangerous, possessive, did I mention sexy. Haha.
I’m so glad I have this audio a chance because I loved it more than reading it. Usually is the other way around but not with this one.

Love love love. I loved listening to it more than reading it.
I felt Trent’s pain through his words. This book was great. The voices were exactly how I pictured them sounding.

Listening to this made the story come to life. I already loved Drake but hearing his voice has made me swoon even harder.
Sia sounded a little older than I thought but she still did Sia justice and portrayed her perfectly.
Rayden voice was so yummy and everything I pictured. When he spoke I felt as if I was right there next time him.
This whole book was great to listen to and it has made me want to reread the book.
Can’t wait to hear the other rest of this series.

Story
A house hidden in the middle of nowhere. A man who’s lived alone for a decade. A woman who trespasses on his solitude. A love full of hate, as well as hunger. The thing about my life is...I was never in control of it. I just I thought I was.I thought I had everything figured out - a good career, fun hobbies, a bright future, but everything changed when I found an ivy-cloaked house, tucked in a forgotten valley, hiding a man who corrupted my world forever.I thought I was successful, until he showed me fortune and happiness could be snatched away in an instant.

I loved the voices

I have always loved this author's writing. I figured let me give one of her books a try in audio. I chose this book because I have not read it and I wanted to see if I would get the same feels as if I would be reading it. I loved the narrators on the book. Both did a great job in portraying the feelings of the characters.
At first it was hard to understand what the story was about but after I was able to focus and really listened to the story I kind of got it. I am still getting into audiobooks but little by little I am beginning to like it.
This audio will have you feeling as if you are sitting in the front row seat watching whats going on. I was able to close my eyes and picture myself in the scene they were describing, especially in those hot sexy scenes. I am getting ready to start the second audiobook on this series.

First Audiobook!!

This was my first audio read. I’m still undecided.
I enjoyed hearing this audio. At first I kept losing focus but it was not because the book wasn’t interesting it was because that’s how my brain works. I kept having to go back. However, I did enjoy it because there were laughter. I think the narrator’s did a fantastic job and that’s what kept me listening. They were so easy to understand. I felt what they were saying.
Mia was not living the life she wanted instead she was living the life her father wanted her to live. This brought her lots of failures in life because she never felt happy. I liked this book because I know that it can happen in real life. And there were so many times that I connected with her.
I might have to give in and listen to more Audio books by Melanie.
