This review is only pertaining to TAKEN
My purchase was of books 4 through 6 in a bundle and I could not review the books individually.
Pam Godwin is an absolute genius author. She is so eloquent and descriptive. She keeps me on the edge of my seat at all times, plunging me into underground worlds with scenes and characters that my imagination could never fathom. She has become one of my favorite authors. I absolutely loved this story of TAKEN but half of the narration absolutely killed it. Kate Genevieve saved this book for me. I LOVED her Texas twang and her super sexy performance of Tiago. I managed to get through it and I’m glad that I did because the story was the best of the series for me so far. But Soren Gray .... no, no, NO!!! He just sounded like Count Chocula. But... Don’t give up. The story is worth it but I’m sorry to say that Soren Gray sounded like he was reading from the sidelines with a bowl of cereal.

Can I give this 20 stars? I’m a big, big Julie fan and I’ve listened to all of her audio releases. This one!!!!! I hung on every single word. You will be absolutely drawn in immediately and it is full of WTFs, twists and some chuckles (McKay’s ETSY shop). First, I absolutely adore all 4 narrators. Second, Julie’s mind is a phenomenon! Her storylines amaze me and this one blew me away! Many nods to her previous collections as well, which was fun! Buy this book and clear your schedule because you won’t put it down. And then you’ll beg for more.

This book destroyed me and put me back together over and over. But... This second book is actually rushed in my opinion. Too many things were happening too fast. One chapter was a span of many years. I needed it to slow down and give me more substance, not just facts. But overall I loved it! I want more stories of the siblings.

CD Reiss not only knows how to write an amazing story but she possesses the ability to capture your mind, heart, curiosity, desire, all of your emotions, into her books! I absolutely could not get away from this book for a second! From the very first chapter, I was completely hooked by these characters and where their stories were going and where they’d been. This book is sexually explicit. The narrator, Elena Wolf, is perfection as always. I downloaded book 2 immediately. No regrets!!! None. I’m excited to keep listening to all of her titles.

This was my first M Never listen and I endured until the end for the sake of the next books reviews. They assure me that book 2 is better. Please be true. The best parts of the story in Owned are the relationships between Ellie and Jet and Kayne and Jet. Could there be too much sex in an erotic book? Yes. And this is it. It’s missing a whole lot of actual substance. And do be aware that this book is SUPER dark, just as promised. Most of it was a bit too violent and.....non consensual for me.

Bully King (book 1) was captivating. I was angry and curious and hopeful and shocked and perplexed and drawn in and so many emotions that I love getting from a great story. This book! It answers all of the questions and brings out all of the rest of my emotions. Is it dark? Oh yes. Is it original? Despite having a few (in my mind) early, similar feelings to Dirty Ones, it is. Is it addicting? YES! I could not put this down and I want more!!! I need Lars and Ax! I need Mona and Donte. I need a dozen more books, Julie! I have zero idea from where your brilliant mind creates these books. But damn girl. Ridiculous good!!!!!

No spoilers but a LOT to say. So let me start by saying ....
THIS BOOK!!!! It was soooo many things for me... the code and tech talk were over my head but I was absolutely captivated with every chapter. SO much that I listened in 1 day. The story, the characters, the narrator: All amazing! It was intriguing and I never saw the writing on the wall for the next chapter, never really knew what was ahead. Harper and Taylor are expressive while being a bit complex but neither is the mean, dominating turd that many authors use to establish plot. You don’t have to choose a side, just enjoy the build, the way she makes sure you know every character and the gripping unfold. You don’t have to hate one of them in the beginning. The story is technical, unpredictable, sexy and a little bit creepy. Katherine gave me just the right amount discomfort to keep me waiting for more of her. The cello made my hairs stand up a little. And I never got used to it but that was part of the beautiful yet uneasy feeling it stirred in me. The only other book that I got so many different vibes from was The Dirty Ones by JA Huss. I feel like I’m gushing over this book like a delicious piece of dessert 😂. But this is one of the most credit worthy books I’ve purchased on Audible. I’m a new to Ms Reiss but a very BIG fan from this book! I’ve visited her website for a reading order list. I know I’ll need a lot of credits. Hope my husband learns how to cook or he might starve because I’m going to be very busy listening!

There were no loose ends to tie up. It felt like a big long epilogue that was full of entertainment. Nolan and the pig segments were a real highlight for me! The HEA we all wanted with all of the fun we didn’t see coming with it. Get this last book of the Mister series. Also, the EOBS at the end of her books it always awesome!
