About this listen

You want the diamonds?

You want the mansion?

You want the lake, and boats, and the cars?

You want the security?

And the man?

Then you do what you’re told.

I live in his castle.

I sit at his feet.

I wear his collar.

I am his offering.

The Chosen Ones...the Ruling Class.

They are a breed apart.

And yes, that pedigree matters.

Not just anyone can rise above and become their equal.

It takes sacrifice.

Ruling Class is the final book in the Kings of High Court College Duet by New York Times best-selling author, JA Huss. It is a dark bully romance with triggers.

Sooooo good!

I loved the books completely, except for one thing ***SPOILER ALERT*** I really wish he would have looked for her, too. It was like he just forgot her.

Wonderfully dramatic

I liked this series very much. This book, when you start getting into it, makes you question who is on who’s side. Stick with it. I wish the ending was a lot different and I wish there was another epilogue that shows the future and what happened to Axel and Lars but overall I was very pleased as usual with this author.

So many secrets!

JA Huss never ceases to amaze me with her books, I haven't read a lot of them but enough to know that I will be in for a mind blowing listen. High Court, offerings, collars, tombs and lots of secrets. Narration is awesome two of my favs. Doesn't sound like there could be a book 3 but I wouldn't be opposed, just don't know how it could possibly fit in with this ending.

Twisted... unthinkables... crosses the lines...

I love JA Huss and have listened to all her books. This series being the last. I can say that this series is my least favourite. Often I wondered why I kept listening. And, unlike most books, this book did not entice me to get to the end. I took my time. Her other books I can't put down and end up staying up late to finish. Many of her books I have listened to many times. JA Huss is an amazing author for sure.

There are so many parts in this book that makes me wonder... WHY??? People did unthinkable things as if it was the norm. Lines were crossed many times. I get that this is a cult... but... the main characters could have just walked away with millions in their pocket. I guess, then there wouldn't be a story. I don't mind the concept of the story. I just felt that people did things that they didn't really have to. So, I had a hard time getting into it.

I didn't care of Emma Wilder's narration because her voice has too many peaks and valleys. Sometimes, frustrating to listen to. Like Captain Kirk in Star Trek.

Jacob Morgan is simply awesome!!

I felt the ending was a bit abrupt and not satisfying. It was like "is it over? Is there another book? No?? What about...???" BTW, there's no book shit!

Wow! Just Wow!

I’ve had this audiobook in my library for about a year. I don’t know why I took so long to listen to it. In fact, I waited so long that I had to listen to the first audiobook again because I could not remember anything. I don’t even know how to describe this book without giving anything away. All I will say is that there are so many twists in this book that you don’t know who is good or bad. Everything and everyone is a surprise. The characters in this book were written so well, and the narrators brought everyone to life in such a perfect way. I didn’t want this book to end.

This book is not suitable for readers younger than 18. There are some triggers in this audiobook that you need to be aware of before you read it. It is about a cult and how they can manipulate your life. It’s very crazy how a person who seems to be so smart can be caught up in something like that.

Holy JA!!

You did it again JA Huss! As I was listening to this book, I started getting anxiety because I was so afraid this wouldn't turn out the way I was hoping for it to. You my dear are amazing. Your mind is a wonderland and this series was a true rollercoaster as per your typical. I have yet to listen to anything of yours that I don't like and this was no exception. Your mind and books truly amaze me and I can't wait for your next listen.

Jacob Morgan & Emma Wilder, as usual, amazing performance. Thank you!!

Troubling, in a good way?

Emma & Jacob do a great job narrating! This story is true to the author’s style: layers & layers of conspiracy that are revealed painfully slow. I say that with love. This one wasn’t as light as the Harem station stories & not as dark as Sick Heart. There was plenty to feel uncomfortable about & plenty to laugh at. I do wish the ending resolved a bit more in HEA territory; the epilogue felt a bit hollow. This still gets full marks from me though. And I really really want to hug Axe.
