Simple Ideas for an enriched Homeschool
Reviewed: 08-20-21
I enjoyed the simple doable ideas given in this book . It was like sitting down to have coffee with a veteran homeschool mom and gleaning ideas.
The narrator was easy to listen to as well.

Story
Hardly a day passes without Trille and Lena inventing some kind of adventure that often ends in trouble. Whether it's coaxing a cow onto a boat or tobogganing down the steepest and iciest hill with a chicken, there is always a thrill - and sometimes an injury - to be had. Trille loves to share everything with Lena, even Auntie Granny's waffles, which make everything just perfect. But when Lena has to move away, and Auntie Granny leaves the world, it sometimes seems nothing will ever be right again.

Well performed Heart warming Story

Best narrator I’ve ever heard so far. Performed authentically with such lovely accents and variety of tone changes per character. Heartwarming story!
This story helps children relate to others (those you’re quick to snub) and the importance of being a friend.

Story
At one time, Corrie ten Boom would have laughed at the idea that she had a story to tell. For the first 50 years of her life, nothing out of the ordinary ever happened to her. She was a spinster watchmaker living contentedly with her sister and their elderly father in the tiny house over their shop in Haarlem. Their uneventful days, as regulated as their own watches, revolved around their abiding love for one another. But with the Nazi invasion and occupation of Holland, everything changed....

Story
Could you retain your faith even if it meant losing your life? Your family's lives? To many Christians in the Middle East today, a "momentary, light affliction" means enduring only torture instead of martyrdom. The depth of oppression Jesus' followers suffer is unimaginable to most Western Christians. Yet it is an everyday reality for those who choose faith over survival in Syria, Iran, Egypt, Lebanon, and other countries hostile to the Gospel of Christ.

Captivating: A Huge Does of Perspective
Reviewed: 12-24-18
I loved this book. It captured you in the moment and was hard to stop listening too. I gained a better perspective on life outside America for Christians and a deeper understanding of freedom. Great performance, very dramatic. I love how the stories are personalized by a message from the individual it's about when they share a word of encouragement! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a closer walk with Jesus!

Great sound effects, voice changes, and music. You feel like you're standing in the center of the story while watching it unfold. Swords clinging in the background, people chattering, etc. It captivates me and my children ages 13, 10, 9. Bible time is active listening time for sure!
