Love the story series so far. The writers draw one into the embrace of an actually fascinating story of such love and commitment. The story line causes a listener to feel as they are actually part of all the characters and their struggles and life’s journeys.
One truly looks forward the next listen in the series. The characters’ emotions are as raw as our own real time lives, and we identify with the personalities of the characters. What a feeling of both pain and joy one shares from the authors.

USA Today best-selling author William W. Johnstone built a reputation for crafting unmatched stories of true Western courage - a tradition J. A. Johnstone now continues. In A Rocky Mountain Christmas, Matt Jensen’s scenic trip on the Denver railway is derailed when an avalanche strikes the train. Far from an accident, its cause is a reckless band of outlaws out to free their leader. A very engaging story with knowledge aforhand. An interestingly rich story with romance threaded into the plot. A typical work once again by William W JOHNSTONE and J A JOHNSTONE.
Started out a little slow then the read was on!
Thank you again for another great listen.

I love this story fiction or not. It seems so possible in fictional western terms. Royal Kimes does a great job of developing such a great story plot. His story draws the listener (reader) right into the center of all the action so that you feel as though you were truly there in the midst of all of the action.

Story
Dan Killoe - over six feet of tough, raw, lightning-fast man. He had a trail heard and a mass of settlers to get across unknown territory to a new land. Then he gave shelter to a stranger being hunted by Felipe Soto, scar-faced leader of the renegade Comancheros. This time Killoe was borrowing more trouble than he wanted to handle.

The great story quality by LOUIS L’AMOUR. Narrator Michael Crouch speaks too fast for my personal likeing. Slowing him down with rate of reading option did not help the story for me. I still loved the Novel!
