Character narration is awful!

I love Dragonlance and love the Companions in these stories. I have read all the preludes, and the Autumn, Winter, and Spring Dragon books, Legends Vol. 1-3.. I could go on. My point is, I’m very familiar with the characters. Honestly, the voice she gives to Tasslehoff is just appalling. I also hate the way she voices Caramon. He sounds like he’s getting ready to say “uhhh which way did he go George.” Tanis sounds priggish, Raistlin is so raspy you’d assume he was a 2 pack a day smoker! Flint is all wrong too... just disappointing.

Story
Landover was a genuine magic kingdom, with fairy folk and wizardry, just as the advertisement has promised. But after he purchased it, Ben Holiday learned that there were a few details the ad had failed to mention. The kingdom was in ruin. The Barons refused to recognize a king, and the peasants were without hope. A dragon was laying waste the countryside, while an evil witch plotted to destroy everything.

I read this book years ago as a teen. I found it in a pile of books at my dad’s house and was surprised and pleased to see a fantasy book amongst the Dick Francis and James Patterson titles. It was a wonderful read, full of all the things I loved a kid- fairies, dragons, and wizards! listening to it all these years later with such great narration by Jeremy Arthur was a real treat.

Arguably Jane Austen's most popular novel, Emma is a vivid, captivating, and irresistibly witty classic about love and marriage.

This is a lovely recording! The voices are done so
well! I’ve read all of Jane Austen’s works and it’s so nice to hear them played out. Emma is my favorite book by Miss Austen and I can’t recommend this audio version enough.
