slow at first and irritating! but then.....!!!
Reviewed: 01-04-23
At first, I was irritated by the voices and the drawl...
But once I got each character set in my head and the story progressed, I loved it all!! I really wish the foul language would have been left out! Just shows the writer has no creativity in expression. I normally delete a book that uses foul language, but I plugged through. Since I could not return it.
Try using some clever words to express disgust, etc... it may be fun for you and the listener!

Excellant spins... but!!!
Reviewed: 12-28-22
It was a slow beginning actually, but then the story took on intriguing turns and became captivating! The only thing I don't like about writers who bring in Biblical events is when they leave out very, very important details of the Bible events that are deceiving the readers or listeners. What is written is written, so why pick and choose? Just be correct! when Saul of Tarsus (who became Paul the Apostle) had his Divine intervention meeting with Jesus on the road to Damascus, and given instruction were to go to be converted to become a Christian, he was Baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost; and that is the only way to be born again... that was Pauls message throughout his writings. He wrote over 2 3rds of the New Testament, preaching Jesus Christ ; God manifested in flesh, our Savior! So it would have been scripturally correct to have each character in this story follow in the same and Repent and be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues ( as Paul said he did more than they all)... to give credence to the wiring. Why are worries afraid to be accurate? So they don't offend non believers? It's a money thing for sure! I would rather be accurate and make sure I don't offend God than to try and please man for filty lucre!

Great Imagination!
Reviewed: 09-12-22
I enjoyed it but it was hard to keep up with who's who and what's what so I kept going back to listen to the chapter again to keep the characters straight. I don't usually listen or read a book the second time but I did this one. it was more enjoyable the second time because I was able to keep all the characters straight, so I was able to really enjoy the fabulous narration. I could listen to Jayne Entwistle all day long. I just love her voice and style!!!
