If you could sum up Wicked Appetite in three words, what would they be?
This book was fun to listen to and the narrator was excellent. I'm really glad I had my earbuds in though!
What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?
Ms. King was excellent in her delivery of the story. She had great inflection, appropriate pauses and good chacterization of the people. I would listen to her again!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Just about, but it was good enough to.

Story
Lucy Blake considered herself an aficionado of vampires. She wrote articles for a Goth/vampire magazine, blogged, read all the books, did all of the research, and watched all of the shows, including the classics. But to Lucy, they stayed in the realm of fiction. She did not believe they were real - not until the night she was bitten. She was infected with the deadly bite of a vampire and slowly transitioned into one of the dark creatures of the night.

Fire this narrator!

What did you like best about Bite Me? What did you like least?
I'm sure this book was good, but the narrator did such a bad job that I didn't even make it past the 1st chapter. She completely destroyed any imagery created by the author by stumbling over words, mumbling and even backtracking to sentences she missed!
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I didn't get to the end!
What didn’t you like about Babs Hightower’s performance?
Everything!
Do you think Bite Me needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I think Bite Me needs a re-do with a competent narrator.
