About this listen

With delectable characters and non-stop thrills that have made Janet Evanovich a household name, Wicked Appetite will leave you hungry for more.

Life in Marblehead has had a pleasant predictability, until Diesel arrives. Rumor has it that a collection of priceless ancient relics representing the Seven Deadly Sins have made their way to Boston's North Shore. Partnered with pastry chef Lizzie Tucker, Diesel bullies and charms his way through historic Salem to track them down - and his criminal mastermind cousin Gerewulf Grimorie.

The black-haired, black-hearted Wulf is on the hunt for the relic representing gluttony. Caught in a race against time, Diesel and Lizzie soon find out that more isn't always better, as they battle Wulf and the first of the deadly sins.

Great Sassy Dialog ...

... with a fun easy storyline. Just the right amount of action asks sexual tension between the main characters.

Just ok

It felt like another Stephanie Plum novel but more cupcakes. Even the voices felt the same. It was hard not to feel like I was listening to Stephanie Plum, with a southern accent sometimes. By the end of the novel she just sounded like a white Lulu.

Not the right performer for this book.

I identify this performer with the character of Stephanie Plum. While I enjoyed the story and characters I was wishing somebody else had read it. I found it irritating that the 'g' was left off of 99 percent off words ending in a g. I figured Lizzy to be somewhere from the South but this was not revealed until nearly 2/3 of the way in. Also ... would somebody PLRASE tell this reader that the correct pronunciation of the word "criminy" is pronounced with a hard 'i' as in crime with in "iny" at the end. This has been niggling at me since the Plum books.

I love the lizzy and diesel novels.!

It is fun, sassy and easy to get into. I live the characters, they are amazing while being relatable. Can't wait to listen to the next one

Hilarious! Awesome!

When I first saw the reviews by other audible listeners I almost did not get. But I love the author. This book is fresh, and funny. The only thing I can say is maybe a different narrator, we are so used to associating Lorelei King with Stephanie plum, so it is a bit confusing to hear Lizzie through her. Lorelei is absolutely awesome, but she is Plums voice. I also love that Carl crossedover to the new series. Cannot wait for the next one.

Corny but Fun

The story is kinda supernatural. The characters fun. Lighthearted with a monkey named Carl that gives people the finger. That's all you need to know.
