Story
This breathtaking, full-color illustrated fantasy is inspired by Chinese folklore, and is a companion to the Newbery Honor winner Where the Mountain Meets the Moon. Pinmei's gentle, loving grandmother always has the most thrilling tales for her granddaughter and the other villagers. However, the peace is shattered one night when soldiers of the Emperor arrive and kidnap the storyteller. Everyone knows that the Emperor wants something called the Luminous Stone That Lights the Night.

Excellent story telling!

If you’re a lover of stories woven in and through each other and characters whose moral compass is tested, but tried and true, this is an excellent read. We listened as a family and loved it! It’s one that I could see us listening to multiple times because the stories are so delicately and well interwoven that as the pieces start coming together you wonder what all you missed the first time and get excited to listen again! If it’s a little challenging to get started…hang in there! It just keeps getting better and better.

Story
Little Women - Based loosely on Louisa May Alcott's own upbringing, this American classic follows the lives of four sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March. Each girl has a vision of what their ideal future will bring, but each ultimately experiences, as most young people do, something completely different. Little Men - Now married, Jo couldn't be happier. Along with her husband, she operates the Plumfield Estate School. Plumfield is a haven for poor orphans and is attended by 12 adopted boys, as well as Jo's own two sons.

Such rich character and life in these pages

These stories are merely just a peek into the simple lives of the March family, yet their stories never fail to captivate, endear, and delight. The reader did a fantastic job performing the book and our whole family loved listening.

Story
January 1946: London is emerging from the shadow of the Second World War, and writer Juliet Ashton is looking for her next book subject. Who could imagine that she would find it in a letter from a man she’s never met, a native of the island of Guernsey, who has come across her name written inside a book by Charles Lamb.... As Juliet and her new correspondent exchange letters, Juliet is drawn into the world of this man and his friends - and what a wonderfully eccentric world it is.

Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows deliver a heart-warming, captivating novel that made me a dedicated fan for life. This is a book I shall read again and again. The performances were absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend it enough.
