Story

Hands Down The Best Book I've Read

I was a new insurance agent who had found success in multiple different businesses. I was a top 1% recruiter in network marketing, built an Amazon business to half a million in under a year, and generated over 100k of revenue for a coaching company as one of their coaches. My biggest fear as a new agent was that I would once again find quick success only to fail to sustain it and ultimately move-on to the next shiny object.
Instead, I found the 7 Levels of Communication. While the concepts in the book are amazing, 7L is so much more to me than a bunch of strategies to build relationships quicker and generate referrals. What I found in 7L was alignment. When I asked myself “Who do I want to BE in the marketplace” the answer was found in 3 simple words inside 7L: Love, Generosity, and Appreciation.
Now instead of door knocking in the Florida summer heat, I’m connecting people, raising money for charity, and generating referrals for me and my network on a consistent basis! Plus, I’ve been able to take all the energy I’ve saved and put it into a gym routine which has improved my relationship. The alignment 7L created within me has completely changed my entire life and that is why I share the book far and wide.
Get it, study it, implement it, and master it and your business and life will grow!

Story
Over the last few decades, networking has devolved into an endless series of cattle call events full of open bars and closed fists. Perfect strangers, after a long day at the office, agree to show up and bump into each other, randomly exchanging business pitches for business cards. Needless to say, traditional networking isn't working anymore. For successful 21st century business people, large networking events and the mountains of business cards they produce have become a waste of time and valuable resources.

The concepts are all good, but honestly you can do all the work or just join a BNI chapter. What he describes basically IS what BNI is. So save the energy and join a chapter and put the concepts into practice.
