Story
In Gay Girl, Good God, author Jackie Hill Perry shares her own story, offering practical tools that helped her in the process of finding wholeness. Jackie grew up fatherless and experienced gender confusion. She embraced masculinity and homosexuality with every fiber of her being. She knew that Christians had a lot to say about all of the above. But was she supposed to change herself? How was she supposed to stop loving women, when homosexuality felt more natural to her than heterosexuality ever could?

This book is a must read for all Christians. As a pastor I teach this so it is well-received. I pray that God allows this message to touch Christmas to see ourselves and desire to change. Sexual sin is not the good news. It should never be singled out as a topic while ignoring all the others.
Jesus is calling everyone.

Amazing Story of God’s redemptive power
Reviewed: 08-14-22
Mr. Barsky, I began reading this book out of sheer boredom and became hooked by chapter 2. I didn’t like your cockiness at first but came to like you and hoped you and Penelope would heal. As I read your remarriage and conversation to Christianity, all I could say is hallelujah. Roman’s 8:28. As a pastor, I’ve already began sharing this and will continue to do so. I would love to speak with you and maybe have you and Shawna on our zoom bible study. 856-465-9692

Story
Christopher Yuan, the son of Chinese immigrants, discovered at an early age that he was different. He was attracted to other boys. As he grew into adulthood, his mother, Angela, hoped to control the situation. Instead she found that her son and her life were spiraling out of control - and her own personal demons were determined to defeat her. Years of heartbreak, confusion, and prayer followed before the Yuans found a place of complete surrender, which is God's desire for all families.

What a beautiful reminder of Christ’s redemptive power. Love and prayer should always override emotions. I am so happy for Christopher, his parents and what God has done in their lives. Hallelujah glory to God.
